Fudge waved goodbye as Yuna and her escorts boarded the Reborn buses headed for Kingsbridge City.
Their first stop would be the capital of the Kings region before continuing their journey to the Parched Lands.
As much as Fudge wanted to join Yuna and tell her tales of all his latest ninja escapades, he had to go somewhere else today and had duties to carry out. No matter how tempting it was to see her being fascinated by him being a good ninja and about his abilities, Fudge reminded himself that his responsibilities came first.
Still… maybe he could slip by in their carriage for just a few days?
"No! I have a job to do…" Fudge scolded himself firmly.
He glanced around Maplewood village. The townsfolk went about their day, completely unaware of his existence, just as it should be for a proper ninja.
Satisfied that no one was looking at him, Fudge descended into the shadow of a nearby house and disappeared completely.
