Somi Mountain remained as vast and mysterious as ever.
During this time, Novak had asked the group about what could be exchanged for Somi's Contribution Points at the Treasure Pavilion.
The response left him speechless.
Somi was enormous.
The White Jade Square, where they had first arrived, stretched ten thousand meters across. The grand main hall, perched atop a flight of thousands of steps, had already been the subject of countless complaints from Clare.
Fortunately, the Demon-Sealing Tower wasn't too far away—it stood in the opposite direction of White Jade Square. Upon entering Somi, it didn't take long to reach it.
However, the rest of Somi was still largely unexplored.
After Ian Bart first set foot in Somi, he had attempted to explore the rest of its vast terrain.
His exploration had led him to the Sword Tomb, located in another direction from White Jade Square.
Yet, he had barely managed a few minutes inside before time ran out.
The Somi Token only granted one hour of entry into this realm—an incredibly valuable period that none of them could afford to waste.
Because of this restriction, no one had even attempted to locate the Treasure Pavilion, let alone enter it or study the exchange rules for Contribution Points.
Now, however, Novak had entered Somi alone.
Unlike before, he had no intention of stepping into the Demon Locking Tower—there was no reason to.
So far, the choices made by every member of Chat Group No. 001 had proven to be entirely reasonable.
Even with Novak's incredible agility and speed, which had reached lightning-fast levels, he still struggled to locate the Treasure Pavilion.
However, he had a strong hunch.
White Jade Square was clearly the central hub of Somi Mountain.
To the east lay the main hall, the place Clare had visited—the same hall where the Somi Master's retreat chamber was located.
That was also where Novak had planned to go.
To the west stood the Demon Locking Tower—with nothing else of note in that direction.
Behind the main hall, however, lay a series of interconnected buildings.
If there were any living inhabitants in Somi, they would likely reside within these halls.
And if Treasure Pavilion truly existed, this was the most probable location for it.
And Novak's instincts were correct.
For over 40 minutes, he scoured the grand halls, searching tirelessly.
Then, at last—a sign.
On a massive plaque, three large, clearly engraved characters stood out:
"Treasure Pavilion."
He had found it.
Exhaling a long breath, Novak wasted no time—he stepped inside immediately.
However, the moment he entered, something unexpected happened.
A voice—old and unfamiliar—rang through the air.
"Ah… A visitor in Somi? Has the Gate of Heaven opened once more? Are you an heir of my Somi Sect?"
Novak froze.
There were no living humans in Somi.
Only the sealed monsters lurking within hidden spaces, like those in the Demon Locking Tower.
Yet now, he had just heard a voice—a human voice.
And not just that—it was spoken in the purest Faeloria Country dialect.
Novak's mind sharpened instantly.
Something wasn't right.
The voice continued:
"No… You do not possess the aura of a Somi heir. You are an outsider—one who has passed the Somi Trial. Very well, then. Welcome to the Treasure Pavilion."
Novak's eyes swept across the room.
Finally, he saw it.
In the vast, dimly lit hall, an old man's figure slowly materialized.
His form was translucent, like a lingering spirit of the dead.
At that moment, Peeping Eye activated, feeding Novak a string of data:
[Treasure Pavilion Artifact Spirit (Level 60 – Special Entity)]
[…]
A level 60 existence?
Novak was momentarily taken aback, but he didn't dwell on it. Instead, he smiled and nodded.
"May I ask, senior, is this the Treasure Pavilion where Somi's contribution points can be exchanged?"
The old spirit chuckled. "Indeed. If you possess Somi's contribution value, you may exchange it for many things!"
With a wave of his hand, an illusory list, shimmering with immortal energy, appeared before Novak's eyes.
Treasure Pavilion Exchange List[Somi Disciple Standard Robe (E-Class Set)] – 5 Contribution Points[Somi Disciple Standard Boots (E-Class Set)] – 5 Contribution Points[…][Azure Sky Sword (S-Class Weapon)] – 1,000,000 Contribution Points, Requires Elder Status[Eight-Turn Flying Elixir (S-Class Elixir)] – 200,000 Contribution Points, Requires Elder Status[…]
At that moment, Novak truly grasped the immense value of this place.
Everything that had fallen from the Demon Locking Tower paled in comparison.
Treasure Pavilion was the true treasury of Somi!
Even at a glance, Novak spotted over ten S-Class items and pieces of equipment!
Yet, it was something at the bottom of the list that caught his attention.
A Legendary Sword[Verdant Chain Sword (SS-Class Weapon)] – 5,000,000 Contribution Points, Requires Master or Elder Status
Novak narrowed his eyes.
Verdant Chain Sword?
And those exchange requirements… Master, Elder status…
The offer was tempting, but Novak quickly looked away, focusing instead on what he truly came for.
[Somi Outer Sect Disciple Status] – 30 Contribution PointsCan be obtained using a Somi Token.Upon promotion to Outer Disciple, the time allowed in Somi increases to two hours!
This was it.
Novak's eyes lit up instantly.
[Exchange for "Somi Outer Sect Disciple"!]
This was the real purpose of contribution points!
An increase from one hour to two hours—a full-time extension.
With twice the time, Novak would have far more opportunities to explore Somi and accomplish more.
The contribution tokens Novak had purchased were just enough to exchange for the 30 required points.
Without hesitation, he shared his discovery with Chat Group No. 001.
Naturally, his group members erupted in excitement.
[JustIan]:Damn! I knew contribution points would be useful!
[Vince]:Brother White, please mark the location of Treasure Pavilion!
[I'm really not a sword fairy]:Unbelievable! I'm supposed to be the future Head of Somi, and even I didn't know where this was! Yet White Emperor found it so quickly?!
[…]
After marking the location for his group members, Novak didn't rush to the Demon Locking Tower.
Instead, he used his remaining time wisely, continuing his exploration of Somi.
Two full hours later, he finally returned to his personal secret warehouse—where he housed the Gluttonous Face.
