The air around him pulsed with power, the ground beneath his feet splitting from the pressure.
He charged in, his footsteps pounding across the broken stone.

A massive shockwave exploded from the point of impact. Purple cracks tore through Beelzebub's barrier, the aura around the demon rippling violently.
But the barrier didn't shatter.
Beelzebub growled, raising his hand again.
More red tendrils burst out from the ground—

They wrapped around Lucas's leg, yanked him into the air, and slammed him against a wall.
CRASH!!

"Lucas!!" Maya shouted, eyes burning.
She leapt forward, fire swirling around her fists.
