Chapter 95 - 95

Aurora sipped the strawberry milk Sebastian had handed her, the sweetness coating her tongue as her fingers loosely held the carton.

 She settled into the driver's seat, her gaze distant but sharp. A slow, cold smirk tugged at her lips as she stared ahead through the windshield.

 "It seems someone's getting far too brave," she murmured under her breath, her eyes glinting with an eerie calm.

With that, she started the car. The engine roared to life, and she sped through the city streets, weaving through traffic until she reached the outskirts—a desolate alley cloaked in shadows and silence.

 Her car skidded to a stop, tires screeching against the rough pavement. She stepped out, her boots clicking against the concrete. The air was heavy, still.

Suddenly, the low rumble of engines approached. Two black SUVs pulled up, their headlights cutting through the darkness.
