Chapter 291 - We never use Transfiguration spells to punish students

When Irina arrived at the auditorium, she saw Professor Moody, who was surrounded by a crowd of people. He was using his wand to control a ferret to flip up and down, while Harry and the other two were standing behind Professor Moody.

Irina saw Lynn standing at the door of the auditorium with his arms folded. He was also watching the farce in the crowd.

"What happened?" Irina leaned over to Lynn and asked quietly.

Lynn shrugged, motioned to the ferret being played with by Professor Moody, and said, "What else could have happened? Malfoy had an argument with Harry and the others, attacked Harry from behind, and then was caught by Professor Moody and turned into a ferret."

Irina suddenly realized that poor Malfoy seemed to have become a tool for Barty Jr. to improve Harry's favor.

After learning what happened here, Irina did not go into the crowd to look for Harry and the others, but stood with Lynn, side by side, watching everything that happened there.

In the crowd, Professor Moody waved his wand and said in a rough voice: "I can't stand people who attack others from behind. This is the most dirty and despicable behavior. It is the behavior of a coward..."

At this time, the ferret that was tossed around was flying higher and higher under Professor Moody's control. It screamed in pain and was forced to jump into the air, with its four legs and tail wagging desperately.

"Professor Moody!" Just as Professor Moody was playing with the ferret, a surprised voice was heard, and Professor McGonagall came down the marble stairs quickly with a pile of books in her arms.

Professor Moody swung the ferret higher and calmly responded to Professor McGonagall, "Hello, Professor McGonagall."

"What...what are you doing?" Professor McGonagall asked hesitantly, her eyes following the ferret jumping in the air.

Professor Moody said calmly, "Lessons learned."

"Lessons... Why, Professor Moody, is that a student?" Professor McGonagall exclaimed, her arms full of books falling to the ground.

Professor Moody nodded and said, "That's right."

"Oh my God!" Professor McGonagall exclaimed again, and she hurried down the stairs and drew her wand.

A moment later, there was a loud snap and the ferret transformed back into Malfoy's form.

Malfoy was seen curled up in a ball, lying on the stone floor, his platinum hair soaked with sweat scattered over his face which was now as red as a monkey's butt. After a while, he barely stood up, looking trembling.

"Professor Moody, we never use Transfiguration to punish students!" Professor McGonagall said weakly, "Professor Dumbledore must have told you?"

Hearing Professor McGonagall's words, Lynn and Irina at the door of the auditorium smiled at each other.

Irina still remembered that in her first Transfiguration class after arriving at Hogwarts Castle, Professor McGonagall warned Harry and Ron that she would turn them into pocket watches and maps.

She still remembered that it was in that Transfiguration class that she became the first little witch to be put in detention among the first-year students because she fed catnip to Professor McGonagall, who had turned into a tabby cat, and deliberately took out cat strips and cat teasers.

At this time, in the middle of the crowd, facing Professor McGonagall's questioning, Professor Moody scratched his chin nonchalantly and said, "He may have mentioned it, but I think he needs to be severely frightened..."

Professor McGonagall interrupted immediately, "We can put him in detention, Professor Moody! Or report him to the dean of his college."

"I'll do that," said Professor Moody, glaring at Malfoy with disgust.

Perhaps in the eyes of some young wizards, Professor Moody hated Malfoy because his father was a Death Eater and was arrested in the riot on the night of the Quidditch World Cup five days ago.

But Lynn and Irina knew clearly that the reason why Barty Jr. hated him was because Lucius Malfoy handed over a large number of gold Galleons to the Ministry of Magic on the day Voldemort fell, cleared his identity as a Death Eater, and even lived a life of wealth and glory for more than ten years.

But in these ten years, Lucius Malfoy never looked for his master Voldemort. This is why Barty Jr. hated Malfoy.

On the ground, Malfoy's light eyes were still filled with tears of pain and shame. He looked up at Professor Moody with resentment and muttered something.

However, since his biggest backer, Lucius Malfoy, had been arrested and imprisoned five days ago, he no longer had the capital to challenge the other party. No matter how aggrieved and resentful Malfoy felt in his heart, he did not dare to express it too obviously.

After Professor Moody's actions were stopped by Professor McGonagall, Professor Moody limped towards Professor Snape's office with Malfoy.

When the little wizards in the auditorium saw that the show was over, they left one after another.

In the next two days, Hogwarts Castle was unusually peaceful, and Lynn and Irina's first Defense Against the Dark Arts classes were the second class in the morning and the first class in the afternoon on Thursday respectively.

After Professor Moody turned Malfoy into a ferret, the little wizards from several other colleges, except for the Slytherin ones, were all looking forward to Professor Moody's classes.

Especially in the past two days, the little wizards in grades six and seven who had already taken Professor Moody's Defense Against the Dark Arts class were very mysterious about it and acted very satisfied with it. This made the little wizards who had not taken the Defense Against the Dark Arts class this school year feel like there were countless ants crawling in their hearts.

Time quickly came to the second class on Thursday morning.

Lynn came to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and sat down, while Irving Foley sat next to him.

"I heard from seniors who have taken the course that Professor Moody's course is very interesting, but I don't know if it's true," Irving said.

Lynn chuckled and said, "Don't worry, I won't let you down. By the way, put this on."

As Lynn spoke, he handed a golden pocket watch to Irving.

"What is this?" Irving did as he was told, and after putting on the golden pocket watch, he asked curiously.

From the magical fluctuations emanating from this golden pocket watch, Irving was able to determine that it was an alchemical artifact.

But as early as when he joined Lynn's gang, Lynn gave him a large amount of alchemical equipment, and now Lynn gave him this golden pocket watch, which made him interested in the function of this pocket watch.

Lynn shrugged and said, "It will keep you from embarrassing yourself in this class. After all, you are mine. If you embarrass yourself, I will have to embarrass myself with you."
