Chapter 136 - Chapter 105.1 : Teasing Nawaki!!

"Father, is that you? I…I…am I not in a Genjutsu game? What is going on… Father, what should I do?"

With her mind in chaos, Tsunade trembled, her pupils shaking. The intense fear overwhelmed her, and her mind buzzed, almost unable to distinguish between reality and Genjutsu.

In her daze, Tsunade felt as if her father's figure had truly appeared beside her, staring at her with a look of disappointment.

Then, the voice echoed once again:

"Shut up! Tsunade! This is not the time to be weak and self-pitying! I told you, look ahead! Nawaki is there! He's waiting for his sister, who couldn't save him before, to save him in this world!"

Hearing these words, her father's call made Tsunade finally move, at least enough to lift her head and look ahead.

To her shock, she saw a semi-transparent, ghostly blue figure of a boy ahead, looking exactly like Nawaki.

The boy opened his mouth, reaching out, as if trying to call 'sister,' but at that moment, a dark hand shot out from behind him and grabbed him. The hand dragged him into the endless darkness.

Seeing this, Tsunade's pupils trembled, and she let out a frantic scream:

"Nawaki!!!"

Then, all her fears and phobias were shattered by the will to save and protect her brother.

It wasn't that the fear was gone, but it was overpowered by a stronger will, driving Tsunade to charge forward without hesitation.

However, the ghosts and blood-colored monsters kept appearing, trying to stop Tsunade. Despite her reluctance, she had no choice but to fight them.

This wasn't the weakness of the female character, but the true strength of Tsunade, one of the Legendary Sannin.

The problem, however, was that the number and strength of the enemies far exceeded those in the 'real' game, slowing Tsunade's progress significantly. She was truly being held back.

Now, Tsunade, in terms of the game, was under the control of chaotic and out-of-control debuffs. She could barely tell reality from Genjutsu, in a state of "I can't tell, I really can't tell…"

The thoughts were countless, but they all converged into one.

That is—save Nawaki!

As 'Father' once said, she had failed to save her brother before, but in this realm of souls, she could not fail again, no matter what!

This time, she must save her brother!

Move forward, keep moving forward!

Anyone who stands in her way must die!

At this moment, Tsunade resembled a war goddess. She didn't even realize that she had unknowingly forgotten that this was a genjutsu world. Her will had turned this into a battle for souls with ghosts and the Grim Reaper.

Clearly, this wasn't normal. A ninja of Tsunade's caliber couldn't truly lose the sense of reality and Genjutsu—after all, this wasn't Infinite Tsukuyomi.

The reason for this was Uchiha Kai's interference. Using the combined power of the mental network and Sharingan, he had been subtly suggesting to Tsunade as soon as she entered, manipulating her mind so that she would gradually forget the 'false' truth in this genjutsu world.

Of course, direct suggestions would be ineffective, but Tsunade had hemophobia, and her mental state was highly unstable.

If it were someone with a more steadfast will, Uchiha Kai's small tricks would have been ineffective, but for now, it worked on Tsunade.

Right now, Tsunade truly believed her father was watching and urging her to save Nawaki, and that Nawaki's soul was being tormented by ghosts, needing her rescue.

As for why she was here, and why there were so many ghosts and other monsters, Tsunade subconsciously ignored those questions.

This state of mental excitement and instability could only exist in a genjutsu game. Once back in reality, everything would return to normal. So, Tsunade's hemophobia could only be healed this once!

Ghosts?

Smash them!

Blood?

Smash it!

Obstacles?

Smash it!

Corpse?

Smash it!

Anyone who dares to block or hinder Tsunade was crushed by her invincible iron fist, and her appearance, which had been altered, quietly returned to its original form, back to the way it was meant to be.

One of the legendary Sannin, Tsunade of Konoha, showcased her style in this special game tailored just for her.

Moreover, Tsunade didn't disappoint Uchiha Kai, who had specially created this game for her, and even gave him a bit of golden spirit as a return.

It was her way of repaying Uchiha Kai.

Watching his sister's unstoppable rampage, Nawaki, who stood beside Uchiha Kai, was both moved by her fierceness and drenched in sweat. He couldn't help but gulp nervously.

"U-um, Kai-nii, when Sis finds out the truth, when she learns that we're lying to her about everything, will she get mad?"

Uchiha Kai immediately responded, "What are you talking about? We didn't force her! We're just helping her! So, even if she gets mad, what's that got to do with us?"

"She wanted to cure her hemophobia. She chose to challenge this game. It's her own decision. She has the fear of blood, not us."

Nawaki was stunned, feeling that Uchiha Kai's words sounded like a bit of sophistry, yet also making some sense.

Uchiha Kai patted Nawaki on the shoulder. "Let me tell you, people with mental illnesses have it tough, because these conditions often accompany them for life."

"Your sister's hemophobia is just like that. If she doesn't receive proper treatment, she'll always be tormented by it and never find peace."

"When her hemophobia attacks, she can't say anything, can't do anything. So, don't feel sorry for her, or you'll think you've done something wrong, like you're hurting her."

"Actually, this is entirely her own fault. Think about it, if she didn't have hemophobia, would we be doing all this? No, we wouldn't be doing anything."

Nawaki listened more and more confused, finally scratching his head, feeling like he needed to think harder, then decided to stop thinking: "I understand now. Anyway, Kai-nii, no matter what we do to help sis, it's the right thing, right?"

Uchiha Kai smiled and nodded: "Exactly, so you don't need to feel any psychological pressure. Of course, even if Tsunade-san gets angry in the end, she wouldn't dare to get mad at me, her benefactor who healed her."

Nawaki quickly nodded to show he understood, but then he realized something was wrong: "Wait, Kai-nii, why wouldn't she get angry at you? What about me?"

Uchiha Kai smiled meaningfully: "Don't worry! Nawaki, you must believe that women who can't even open a bottle cap in front of other men, often possess terrifying strength that can easily twist off their own brother's skull."

After saying that, he patted Nawaki on the shoulder, as if he had said a lot, but also nothing at all.

Nawaki was stunned for a moment, processing the meaning behind the words. Then, suddenly, his face turned pale, and he let out a cry of despair: "So all that talking was just to make me take the brunt of sis's anger? That's too cruel, Kai-nii!"

Uchiha Kai just chuckled silently, everything unspoken.

After all, it was just a joke to tease Nawaki.

With Tsunade's current mindset and the guilt from over a decade, how could she possibly harm her silly little brother after they finally reunited?
