"Everyone in the front clear out, clear the way!"
At the city gate, several soldiers were escorting prisoners forward.
Among them were elderly men and strong young men, their faces filled with sorrow and injustice as they shouted their innocence, but they were still forcefully escorted out of the city.
The passersby had grown accustomed to this sight, no one spoke up or showed sympathy, merely stepping aside to give way as they shook their heads seeing officials cast another person out of the city.
Just then, a group of four approached, intending to enter the city. Seeing this scene, they involuntarily stepped aside, but continued towards the city.
"You lot! Are you deaf? We are escorting prisoners, back off, get back!"
As expected.
The four who were coming towards them looked at each other.
