The condition of the siblings Ji Yu was rather peculiar.
Though Ji Yu, the sister, appeared human and had even become more beautiful, charming, and delicate, in reality, she was a complete monster, a pure Evil Spirit, also known as "Yang God·Purification" prefixed with Seven Spirits.
Her brother, Ji Zhe, as a 'Demon Chosen,' was supposed to be an 'inhuman human,' but he had completely lost the normal human shape, and his form was extremely terrifying.
His ears had turned into sharp cones, covered with budding flesh; his neck resembled a peeled electrical cable, with many snake-like projections; even his abdomen had four strange swirl-shaped orifices, inside which could be seen several segments of fingers, unknown from whose unfortunate hand, nibbling and chewing.
No wonder they had made Ji Yu the head of the lion dance troupe—after all, her end looked somewhat nicer, and Ji Zhe's end, being too ugly, was stuffed into the tail to be hidden away.
