"It seems I've arrived just in time," Qin Chuan said indifferently. Behind him, Zefina, supporting herself on a broken high wall, struggled to come out, drenched in blood, her breath weak to the extreme.
"Thank... thank..."
"Rest now," Qin Chuan looked at Zefina. "Leave the rest to me."
Zefina nodded slightly, and the next instant she could no longer sustain herself and collapsed heavily to the ground, unconscious.
Had she not donned all her protective gear without hesitation upon returning to full strength, she would have died by now.
Stepping forward, Qin Chuan half-knelt on the ground, one hand pressing on the shadow beneath his feet.
"Spirit Descent."
A pitch-black flame erupted from the shadow under Qin Chuan's feet, enveloping his body for a moment; when the flame dissipated, Qin Chuan, wearing a mask without eye holes, raised his head high amidst the sweeping black energy wind, staring at the Black Robe in the void.
"Dark Night Shadow Hunting."
