Jiutiao Meijie stretched out her other hand, caressing Dubian Che's Adam's apple.
"I'm asking you!" Dubian Che grabbed her fidgeting hand.
Jiutiao Meijie sighed as if she was annoyed to death, "Fine, I promise you."
"Really?"
"Really… or is it fake?" Jiutiao Meijie said with a teasing smile, "You'll have to keep a close eye on me from now on."
"That's settled then."
"Mhm, mhm." Jiutiao Meijie lazily responded twice, "Enough? I'm going to take a bath."
"Wait a moment." Dubian Che flipped off the covers and jumped down from the bed.
Jiutiao Meijie, with most of her body exposed, didn't bother reaching for the blanket.
Dubian Che took out the prepared gift from inside his suit and as he lay back on the bed, he covered them both with the blanket once more.
"It's like a child hiding under the covers to sneak a read of a novel," he whispered to Jiutiao Meijie, "This is my birthday gift to you."
