Here was the eastern gateway of Ming City Expressway, and also the busiest toll booth in the entire Ming City.
It was approaching Saturday evening, and a long line of cars had already formed at the manual lanes of the toll booth.
Interestingly, there were clearly three lanes marked "Manual/ETC," but there were significantly more vehicles queued up in the leftmost lane compared to the other two lanes.
As the barrier opened and closed once more, a white Volkswagen Santana slowly moved forward and stopped in front of the toll window.
"Hello!"
Sitting in the toll window, wearing a blue and white uniform, was a young girl with rosy lips and pearly teeth.
Her updo paired with a sweet smile gave her a rustic and pure beauty, which made the young man in the driver's seat of the Santana feel a pang of interest.
The girl extended a card toward him, but the young man didn't take it for a while.
