The sound of engines tore across the rainy sky, on the dropship, 4 designated Cores with different tasks in the team hooked up on the landing gear, ready to deploy when ready. And there's Him, James, leaning on his landing gear.
"So unprofessional..." One of the cores said her name is S.0ul, assault core.
"Don't bother, focus on this mission" -L.1LLy, medic core.
James received a call, it was Clare at the main base.
"Hey! It's this thing on!"
"Yes, yes, I hear you loud and clear, mostly loud."
"We're watching you guys through your POV, pretty cool how they installed this for them, for you, well, I gotta let them borrow the tablet"
At the control room, Clare and Kiries are at their seat, observing the operation, listening to eyes in the sky explaining to them what to do, with the boss.
"Hey, be sure to return safely..." -Kiries
"I know. You stay there and wait for me, aight?"
Back to the headquarters.
["Listen up, team, you are approaching the drop zone. Secure your landing gear, it's gonna be a rough landing, with hostile below. After landing, report if any go out of orbit."]

They pressed the button, armor and part assembled into a drop pod. James also went to his landing gear, secured by belts and suspension systems. 5 human-sized bullet drops were ready to launch.
Red light switched to green, the dropship fired drop pods, free-falling from extreme height

They are rapidly approaching the ground, the velocity instantly cuts off, the rocket slows down for landing, where hundreds of hostiles are wandering around. All of the droppods detached the booster, and they all switched out 4 armor armor-piercing miniguns on each of the pods. They fired thousands of bullets down the ground, shredding everything around, then firing missiles, exploding, and leveling the place, for more overkill, focus plasma beams swirling the ground, cutting everything that moves.
Spider legs popped out, landed on the ground, and the guns continued to empty the rest of what ammo in the box. The armor exploded, allowing the team to come out. Looking around, mostly what is still moving has been completely smushed into puddles.
"Landing confirm, Omega team moving out" -Vix

"Aight, team, let's get to work."
Moving through the ruins of what remains, the drop pods decayed into dust.
James and the rest of the Omega squad are walking on the dried land where no one steps. The air is filled with the smell of burning grass, and dark dust is gliding through it.

They blasted off into the sky, aiming down at the lotus,

5 of them take out their most powerful weapon, but just before they pull the trigger, a missile from the other side of the flower hits. Vix was fast enough to destroy it, but Shockwave blasted the other away. A big robot jumped over the lotus, its tail slapped Vix right back on the ground. The robot screeched, a sound that can tear apart a normal human eardrum.
"Is that R.4.Y?"-V
"They got Ravager?"
The giant robot resembles what from a video game, one of its big arms or wings has been blown away, one of its chest and right leg armor has been slashed, and the other arm is firing tracking missiles at the group.
James's kinetic field redirected them back at the metal gearing with a missile rack and on-arm turrets.
It fires a plasma cutter from the mouth, swiping the ground, forcing they have to split. V takes a good spot, tossing coins right at it and firing her decimation gun. The bullet clearly hits right through the robot's heart, but it is still moving.
"Guys, I can't shoot it down normally, something's controlling this military equipment" -V

The sky tore apart with the blinding light focused beam shot straight down right at the lotus, burning the ground. In their astonishment, a barrier formed, spreading the beam into many different lights. The orbital strike finished off with a projectile shot down, but shattered right before it hit the barrier, by the robot it blasted from the mouth to protect the lotus from humans' firepower.

"Hey! Figure out how to break through that thing!" -S.0 "My rift can't even pass it."
"Kill it!" Vix fired his back cannon, and hundreds of spikes pierced through the robot armor. It kicked him and pinned him to the ground. V shot its eye lens. James charged at its body and body slammed it down. He summoned more guns around himself and poured lead right on it.
"Hands down!" All the guns turned into condensed explosives and were thrown in, igniting the flame.
Vix managed to get out in time, he flew next to James. "You tried to kill me?"
"Only if necessary," James giggled mischievously,
their mask lit up. James and Vix fired heat beams at the robot. making it scream in pain.
The machine rose up once more, its turret fired a hook, stabbed through V's right thigh, and pulled her in.
"AHH" dropped her gun, V was threw into James and Vix, she hit James, Vix dodged with his speed, but got surprised by the sudden tail slam, Soul dived in, she slashed the space with her arm blade, opened a rift in dimension quicky get on the machine and destroy it turret, letting V get thrown down with James.
"Damn it" she broke the hook and pulled the short end out from her thigh. "Where's Lilly?"
"Down here..." Her voice muffled below where they crashed, James lifted up the ground, and found Lilly buried down there.
"How did you get into this position?" -James pulled her up. Lilly uses her nano bot to repair V.
"Go help them, I'll fix her, go!" -Lilly
He blasted off the ground, bringing in the strongest punch right on the machine's head with his claws. Soul fired an arm cannon, sticking an electricized dart into its body. 40 tons of gigajoules surged and burned the inside of this robot.
"Time to end thi-" for some reason, it's still functional, fired a plasma beam at him, sending him upward into the sky, turning to Soul, it opened the missile pod, despite being on fire, it still sent a barrage of explosives at her.
Soul activates her stealth mode, and her skin goes invisible, blending in with the environment.
Vix gritted his teeth, his core fuel, the parts belong to James, with those along, time begins to slow down, every 0.14 seconds. His body heats up, signaling him to use this quickly. Just like an instant, his speed became so fast, particles around him slipped off his body, in normal human eyes, it was like he teleported, they couldn't even see what just happened, besides the machines shattered into shredded paper
Vix appeared next to Lilly and V, standing away 5 feet.

His armor opens gaps, joints, and skin, releasing burning hot air. After that, freezing nitrogen rapidly cooled his body. "Better.."

James looked at them and to the horizon, where billions of infected soldiers are closing in.
"Clare, I'm going in," he said with a smug look. He flew up on the lotus, leaving the rest watching confused.

"Maybe," he slammed on the barrier, face to face with the source of evil. James Punched and punched it, pacing up his speed. [counter magnetic field online] summoned more guns around, firing at the barrier, shells falling off the dome like rain. His core pulses disturbed the wave, making the barrier unstable.
"Cover him!" -Vix
They fly up, guns armed and blazing. shooting the incoming forces as much as they could. Bullets pierced through skulls and ribcages. Once close enough, Vix and his team ditched the firearms, engaging in close-quarter combat. Vix got stabbed right in the stomach, he chopped off two of the infected in half. V tossed coins and punched them through their heads, her gun shattered from blocking an attack, and she hit them back.
Soul and Lilly, with their team-up, phasing in and out of rifts, slashing and breaking their bodies. As more enemies jumped in, Vix was forced to speed up once more and barely wiped them all. His body exhausted more heated air.
[3 charges of nitrogen tank remain]
"Hurry up!"
"RAAAHHH!!!!" The final punch sent in, the barrier glitched, and exploded like shattered glass.
Immediately, Vix once again pumped in the core parts. in his point of view, everything was frozen, particles disintegrated, and he dashed to the lotus' main power source, a strange sphere emitting strange radiation. The space on his path was broken when he moved, and the temperature rose rapidly. bringing his claws to slash it, trying to destroy it.
His time was up, the outer layers exposed the pulsing heart of the lotus. Vix was completely overheated, his body shutting down.
["Vix down, 404, finish the mission"]
V grappled Vix and pulled him out. James dived in, shooting the target. Unexpectedly, the heart fires a massive beam of Decaying.
His body completely melted, but the endoskeleton didn't. He screamed with pure insanity in his voice, two blades materialized, and he struck down. His Swords dug straight through the heart. The lotus fired a bigger beam. Vix, Soul, V, and Lilly were lucky to stay far enough. But the shock wave was too much for them to approach him.
["James!"] Behind the eyes, she watched in anxiety. The heat beam shot out of space. James landed on the moon, pushed back by the laser. He withstood the intense heat. He activated absolute zero, creating a frozen shield around his body. Staring straight to the heart, millions of miles away, he smiled on the regenerating face.
"Dyiŋ hart of viÞer blood... ghattered zind vill i return.... har Þe voiseg are shantiŋ naze... endlegg nightzare here i soze!!!!"

Struck down like a meteor, the punch exploded his right arm, the flowe's core annihilated into oblivion. A huge explosion burned the lotus, and the infected collapsed on the ground.

The observers cheer up in screams and laughter of success. His face still watching seriously, Clare and Kiries sweating, wondering where James' signal.
Back to Vix, he broke out from the ground, pulling up his teammates from the scorched dirt.
"Where's he?!" -Vix said, his voice full of worry.

From the sky, a figure falls down, his right arm is destroyed and breaks off from the remainder of the bone. Vix blasted off, he quickly watched him before hitting the ground.
"Hey, wake up!" Vix's arm transformed into a shock device, sending electricity through his core. "Mother hecker... Again!"
"HQ, we need transport out of here." -V
["Loud and clear Omega, pick up will arrive. ETA: 30 minutes"]
"Guys, help me carry this guy" -Vix
["James, do you hear me? don't scare us dude, wake up"]
echo through the broken mind. System rebooted. Chuckle in the face of death. He gets out of Vix's arms. "Hahahaha.... I never felt alive this much..." his arm finished regenerating when the old one fell off.
"Jesus Christ... You wiped almost everything with that explosion." -V
"I'm pretty good at blow sh#t up, eh? Hahaha!" -James

"You could have destroy the earth moron" Vix punched James on the arm

The team walking past the corpses slowly disintegrated into particles, flying through the air. Finally, everything can be over...

The crew looks back at the bright, dark light in the air.
"GO GO GET ON" Jame rushed them on, the ship took off, but it crumbled after a few seconds before crashing. The pilots and other crew vomited blood before dying instantly. Their blood turned black and then vaporized.
"Super radiation... this type of thing doesn't exist..." -Vix
"AHHH my Body!" Lilly tried and yanked off her chest armor and skin. Her bone crumbled like a cookie, her core cracked. Soul and V are trying to help. But her nanobot exploded, and the particle inside her body shattered at the molecular level in just a nanosecond,
"Don't die!" James placed down his hand, absolute solver creating a huge black box, shielding them from what might happen next. Pulse wave knocked the crate far away from the crashsite, sending super reactive radiation that can melt everything in just a second. Every second, the corrosive level increased by 100%, and the nuclear blast radius has now reached worldwide destruction.
"Active protection dome at their location." the boss said.

The pillars around the continent build up the forcefield, containing everything inside
The pressure reached the climax, heat level flew through the window. The dying star's shell turned into dust. from afar, where the base, two guards watching the snowing flower falling down the sky, they see a bright light pillar, reflected by the sky like a mirror. Inside the dying dome, the explosion blasted with extreme firewave, wiping everything on the surface. The soil turned into dust, decayed instantly, and the integrity of the shield was reduced to 10% by the blast, trying to keep up with the onslaught of radiation, fire blasting like a thousand rockets taking off.
"Sir, the shield can't keep it up; the amount of super radiation built up inside the country will eat the dome faster.In about 10 seconds, it will poison the whole planet. even with other shield dome around the world, it wont stay on forever.
9%... 5%... 1%... "It's over..." Kiries said, "This was a mistake..."
The beeping sounds of warning keep going on and on, nonstop. everyone was silent, but also confused.
"What's going on?" 1# scientist
"There's an unusual energy transfer to the dome keeping it steady. and slowly getting up. What's in there?"
Clare and kiries gasp in surprise, watching through his eyes. "James...."
Inside the fire, at the dome right in the middle, where he stands. The protection shell secured onto his back, creating a cloud with billions of tons of gigajoules of power shot straight up into the sky, divided between each side of the shield. holding it together. His ice shield keeps on generating, his core pumping energy, absolute solver collects radiation and converts it into his own power. absorbing everything he had. His hands were up toward the blinding light of death. "RAAAAAHHH!" his voice glitched. [Activating Sentinel mode], he levitated from the ground.
"This is over!" releasing nanites, they flew to every corners of the dome. eating radiation particles and when the nuke has stopped, they soon saved the place.
The fire stopped, his frost shield shattered. The dome finally broke. James landed, for the first time he felt tired. "Okay... that burned a lot... C'mon heart, regenerate..."
Everyone inside the black box gets out, they look around the white horizon, and nanites start to clean the waste stuck on their bodies.
"God... you did it..." -Vix
"You saved everyone... saved Lilly" -Soul.
Looking at the sphere that shattered, James doesn't feel easy, the spot there where it at, a space crack glowing, and just before they could say anything, the portal has opened. and now the calamity forces has arrived.
