Chapter 12 - Yolina, Gretchen, Anna, and Quince

"Knock, Knock." I turn to the door. "Your Highness The maids you have requested are here along with the Head Maid." "Come in." Leislia says calmly now standing. I watch as a total of 14 maids enter the room with one far older than the rest. She looks to be in her 50's while the rest look no older than 30. "Your Highness, here are all the capable maids under the age of 25." "I see, come dear sister, allow me to help you choose." I walk over to her and the maids now bowing to me. "Each one of you, Tell Princess Lerape your name and age." I Listen as each says their name to me, and their age. Daisy, 16. Yolina, 23. Gretchen, 20. Anna, 19, Ralie, 18. Tiana, 18. Quince, 17. And a lot more. I can't remember all 14 names but a few of the girls seem nicer than others. "Lerape, you may choose a few to be your personal attendants." Leislia says. "I will choose Gretchen, Anna, Yolina, and Quince." I noticed that those few smiled pleasantly and seemed very kind. I think that it would be very possible to easily get along with them. "Okay, You 4 listen, You will be as of today serving this Kingdoms Holy Quitom and new Imperial Princess. No mistakes will be tolerated. Understand?" "Yes, Your Highness." They all say in unison while they bow. "Also, Lerape, This is Megan Tanner. The head maid. If any of these ladies disrespect you in any way let her know and they'll be punished severely." "I see. Thank you. It's a pleasure to meet you Megan." "Thank You. It is a pleasure to meet your Highness. I hope all of these ladies do well to please you and that you face no troubles. If so, please let me know immediately." "Yes, I will." "The rest of you are dismissed." I watch as the rest of the maids leave the room leaving me with the 4 new ones. "Sister, it's getting late so I think I'll take my leave. Maids, help Lerape, get ready for bed." "Thank you for your help today, elder sister." She smiles at me before leaving. I look at the new maids. Yolina looks very sophisticated. She seems good at her job and friendly, but she seems like she doesn't play around. Gretchen is very pretty, I notice. She seems nice and stylish. I think she'll be a lot of help with doing my hair. Anna seems like a very nice person. She looks like she won't mess up her job. She seems like the type who would just really enjoy helping out. Quince is the youngest. Only a year older than me. She seems very bubbly and excited to be here. I look forward to working with each of them.
