'They locked my Aetheris Veins...' Ryuk thought in anger as his eyes looked down at the huge veins beneath him, watching the dark aura that covered everything.
It was no doubt. They had placed chains around his own Mental Veins, stopping him from being able to access Aetheris!
'Bastards. Seems like the body they took wasn't enough. They needed to lock the fucking Mental Veins too...' Ryuk thought with a distasteful click before he removed his consciousness from the Mental Realm, getting back to the real world.
"Huuuuu, I can't afford to lose it now. I need to focus," Ryuk whispered to himself as he calmed down, ebbing his brewing anger.
After a couple seconds of silence, he felt the rising anger settle back within him.
It didn't leave.
No, it could never leave.
But it settled, and that was all he needed...for now.
"Hey, System," Ryuk called in his head.

"Were you able to see the Mental Realm?" he asked the system, which blinked out once more.
