Angel's POV
His parents had finally left, after scolding him so much for being reckless that I had to wince slightly, then they went on to advise us to use protection after they knew we were together.
I had almost choked on air when aunt Suzan had "casually" mentioned that and when they left, it was quiet between me and Samuel, a bit awkward even.
He had been quiet since I came out of the room and spoke to Aunt Suzan and uncle Daniel, even when they teased us he had been oddly quiet, was he angry with me?. Does he think I'm annoying?
Admidst my inner turmoil, I failed to notice his gaze on me and when I finally did_ my breath caught in my throat
He was looking at me with so much love that I almost forgot to breathe " what's up?" I asked seemingly casual
He just looks at me and doesn't say anything, instead he drew me into his arms, placed me on his laps_despite my initial struggle_ and nuzzled into my neck "I want to rest and hold you" he murmured against my skin "can we just stay like this for some time, girlfriend?" He asked
I could literally hear his smirk through his words "Fine. You can, boyfriend" and I felt his body twitch. Payback's a bitch
Before I could revel in my victory, I felt his hands sneaking into his hoodie and I instantly felt them on my bare waist. He caressed my waist and squeezed lightly and my breath caught. His hands trailed lower and lower.....until he finally rested his hands on my ass sneaky bastard
I push at his head and i scowl when I see him smirking at me "thought you said you wanted to rest?" I raise an eyebrow when he didn't answer me and squeezed my butt lightly instead "You're naughty"
"You love me"
"Mhmm, damn yes I do " I smile at him but then I ask seriously "how are you feeling? "
" I'm fine, is my little baby worried about me? "
" Do you want to rephrase that sentence or should I ask you again? " I raise a brow at the way he skillfully evaded the question
He sighs and pulls me closer to him by my waist "I'm fine really, a few aches here and there but I'll live and if this is about my parents...I am fine too, I just need to get my shit together so I can stop making you worried"
I look at him quietly "Let go"
" What?! " He looked stunned "are you really mad at me?" He asked looking aggrieved
"I'm not, let go of me first" I insist not wavering one bit
" I wanna hold you though" he pouts looking particularly pitiful
" And you will, I just need you to let go for now. I wanna give you a massage" I coax him gently
" I don't need a massage, I just need to hold you and I'll be fine " he replied stubbornly still not letting go of me
"Why didn't I notice you were this clingy?" I ask exasperated at his childish behavior
"Only for you, darling" He smirked and I literally forgot to breathe, he looked so dazzling, I was pulled out of my daze when I heard him chuckle lightly "seen enough?"
I blush as I buried my head in his neck and hit his chest lightly "you're a big asshole"
"I'm yours though"
"No arguments, let go of me now please?"
"Why?"
"I wanna get dressed properly, it won't be nice if someone else walked in here again and I'm just in your hoodie."
He looked down at me and he smiles almost imperceptibly but then he frowned "you can't let anyone see you like this, you look too tempting right now. Let's go inside the room" he says placing his hands on my thigh, lifting me and I had no choice than to wrap my hands around his neck so I wouldn't fall_not like he'd let me fall though_ "I'd grab you a shirt and shorts from my wardrobe that'd be around you size" he continues
"Calm your horses, young man. Which one of your clothes will fit me?" I ask curiously
"Well, the smaller ones I bought. And don't worry, it'll look good, you look good in my clothes already"
"Just shut up and pick an outfit for me already" and he chuckles
After some time (A/N: I had to end their sweet little moment, got me a bit too jealous over there 😩😂)
After he gave me one of his smaller clothes to wear, I sat him down and asked how he was feeling again and if he needed to go out for fresh air and he agreed to go out for a walk.
We headed out and we strolled around his house aimlessly for a while until I suddenly started craving ice cream
I hesitate slightly looking up at his sharp side profile "uh, is there a mart or a mall nearby?"
He paused lightly in his footsteps and looked down at me, smilingly " yeah, why?. Is my girlfriend eager to go on a date with me ?"
I widen my eyes, surprised he even thought about it that way " Of course not. I just wanted ice cream" I pout
He stares at my pouty lips for a beat and then he mumbled a yes. I was instantly overjoyed " where???" I ask happily. Finally, I get to devour that creamy scoop of goodness
" It's not far, let's go" and he just drags me along like a puppet. I'm not complaining anyways, as long as I get my ice cream Hehehe
After a series of turns and curves, I could literally feel my legs going jelly like and I couldn't help but glare at him in annoyance. Didn't he say it wasn't far???. Then why have we been walking since and we haven't reached there?. Even if we were on our way to heaven, we'd already be halfway there already. I swear if we walk more than necessary again, I might just kill him. My legs are about to fall off and the idiot's acting like he didn't notice. Purple eyed rubber duck
As I continue to curse Samuel's entire generation mentally, he finally stops in front of a mall and sighs contentedly "here we are"
I ignore him and walked straight inside trying to walk normal and not like I have a stick stuck up my butt. Ha catches up to me laughing "are you mad at me??, I'm sorry. You were the one that wanted ice cream right? "
" You said it wasn't far" I fired back " but we walked for more than 30 minutes, we kept turning and turning and I almost thought the world was going in circles " I roll my eyes at him and walked to the counter with my ice cream in hand. After paying, I resumed ignoring him and walked out of the mall but he caught my wrist and hugged me from behind "I'm sorry. I just wanted to mess with you for a bit, you looked so cute when you heard it wasn't far"
"So you decided to just make me walk for nothing?. Tell me the truth, we could have gotten here in 10 minutes, yes or no?"
He grins and nods "yeah, we could have gotten here twenty minutes earlier"
"Okay, fine" I just nod and continue walking. I didn't know where I was going but that didn't mean I'd stop walking to continue quibbling with him about his senselessness
"C'mon, wait up. I said I'm sorry"
I pause angrily as I whip my head to look at him with a glare "but are you really??" He keeps quiet, staring at me quietly " I was worried about you dummy, I wanted you to leave the house to get some fresh air since you just fell silent and refused to really tell me what's up. Fine, it's my fault that I suddenly wanted to get ice cream when I was supposed to be caring for you but you making me walk in circles just for your own amusement is bad" I sniffle " I hate it and I hate you so much, I don't want to cry right now but I'm scared. I literally almost lost you and then you're fine one second, the next your parents come in and your father starts talking down at you and making you feel bad and then I decided to make you feel better and you just stressed me to make yourself better???. Should have just told me you wanted to punish me for whatever I put you through, if you had just said that then I'd know that I deserved whatever happens after. Now how am I even supposed to be sure that you asking me out wasn't just our of your amusement too?" I look up with tears streaming down my cheek to see him with his jaw clenched
" Does your stomach hurt?" He questions
Immediately he asked me, I felt a jolt of pain in my abdomen but instead of admitting it, my anger flares up when I realized he didn't answer my question "DO NOT FREAKING AVOID MY QUESTION!!!!. IS THAT TRULY ALL I AM TO YOU?, A MEANS OF AMUSEMENT FOR YOU?!!" I yell at him
He keeps quiet still and he suddenly seems to realize something and he moved closer to me, he unclenched his jaw and murmured in my ear " Don't ever doubt my feelings for you kitten, you deserve to be punished but I'll let it slide since you're on your period " my heart caught in my throat and I widen my eyes.
Then he straightens up and takes my hand like I didn't just yell at him seconds ago "let's go home baby"
I was stupefied and I didn't come to my sense until he nudged me slightly and told me we were home
We're home!!!, how did that happen?, we were literally outside the mall one second and inside the house the next.
"Ouch" I groan in pain as another pang of pain hit me
"You okay??" He asks with concern evident in his eyes " what do you need me to do for you?"
"No thank you. I'll be fine " this is so embarrassing "I just need to get some sleep" I mumble
He doesn't seem to believe my words but he still nodded slightly and helped me to his room "get some sleep, I'll be back soon"
As soon as he close the door, I curl up in pain and tears sprang up to me eyes instantly as another pang hit me i wouldn't even be able to take the ice cream right now. Why didn't I even check to confirm if I was free before doing anything???
I cry silently as I feel the pain intensify and I clench my teeth refusing to make a sound and making Samuel rush in looking like a concerned mother hen. I couldn't help but chuckle at the image I conjured up in my head. I broke out in cold sweat as I start to lose consciousness and everything became dark.
After some time
I open my eyes to feel something cold on my forehead, I frown as I move to remove whatever was there but someone lightly tapped my hand and placed it down
"You're awake?. Sit up" Samuel says, helping me to sit. I could tell he was a bit annoyed and was barely holding back his scolding.
He didn't say anything as he fed me warm honey water, I was surprised and looked up at him with the questions in my eyes and he mumbled "I called your mum to ask what you could take, just for me to walk back into the room to find you unconscious. You literally told me you were fine, why did you do that?. So you didn't trust me enough to take care of you???"
" I'm sorry, I didn't want to stress you"
" Who said you were stressing me?, you're my girlfriend so it's my duty to do that. Let's leave that now, I'll scold you when you're all better. For now, you need to rest"
" Okay, I'll listen to you" I smile as I lay down back on the bed
" As expected. Oh yeah, someone called when you were unconscious, said his name was Roman and I told him you weren't available and that you'd return his call whenever you're awake"
Roman called??, is something up? " Okay, I'll call him back later"
He didn't say anything, he just hummed in response to what I said
"I'm sorry"
He looks up, startled by my sudden apology "for?, what's up?"
" I'm sorry, I lashed out at you earlier at the mall. I was just too emotion-"
He cuts me off and he smiles at me "I know and I understand. I'm not mad at you, just go back to sleep and I'd make you something to eat. I'm sure you must be hungry"
As if in response to his words, my stomach rumbled slightly and I felt my face heat up in embarrassment "I'll listen to you and go back to sleep "
"Okay, then. I'll check up on you again later" and he pecks me lightly on my forehead
