Xu Chuning let out an "ah" sound, somewhat surprised.
Just this short distance, how could she possibly get lost.
Shen Yubai's expression remained calm, without further explanation. He couldn't possibly tell her that he wanted to see her earlier.

Xu Chuning didn't know what Shen Yubai was thinking, only feeling that his silence was a bit strange.
The two walked side by side towards the residential area, and under the lights, their shadows occasionally overlapped.
Noticing this, Xu Chuning inexplicably smiled.
"What are you laughing at?" Shen Yubai asked.
Xu Chuning glanced sideways, "Nothing."
She couldn't possibly tell him that she found the overlapping shadows of the two of them amusing and that she liked it.
Shen Yubai raised an eyebrow and followed her gaze, his mind clear, "What did you eat tonight?"
"I ate a lot of random stuff at the night market," Xu Chuning honestly replied.
