Seeing that they had covered half the distance, everyone was a bit tired. They came upon an appropriate place to rest, so they stopped to regroup and also to discuss the upcoming journey.
Their number totaled several hundred Beastmen, including quite a few Old Beastmen and beastman cubs.
Within the territory of the Beastman Kingdom, they could swagger around without worry; nobody would come looking for trouble. However, it was a different story in the Human Clan Kingdom.
The status of the Human Race on the Stan Continent did not mean they could underestimate Human strength. Some relatively powerful territories were able to secretly capture Beastmen as slaves, especially near the borders where Beastmen and cubs often went missing. Everyone knew the score.
