"I promised to get you two guards, so here they are," General Low said, pointing at Kent and Kalvas.
The prince was a much taller, thicker pantherkin who, by beast standards, was handsome. But by the look of his nature, one could already see his arrogance from a mile away.
"You two, on your knees," Prince Ebert said, and Kalvas immediately went down on his knees. Kent, on the other hand, stood there, staring at the prince with a calm expression.
"Didn't you hear the order to kneel down?" one of the Batkin standing behind the prince said, pointing at Kent. However, despite directing his aura at him, Kent stood there, unmoving.
He locked gazes with the prince and then asked,
"I didn't come here to kneel before you or anyone. I came because I was required to be your guard. Now, I don't know if you'll take offense, but I don't see myself going down on my knees anytime soon."
