Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: 4 mob characters vs 1 Jonin

Just like in the previous fight we managed to outnumber the enemy by double as we originally brought 40 Genin and 20 Chunin to the border. With us able to completely out match the first batch of shinobi sent. Outnumbering the enemy 3 to 1. In the original story Genin like Rock Lee, Sasuke, Naruto, and Neji go past the regular title of Genin just by being on a top 8 team after the forest of death. The Genin that failed earlier in the day in the classroom and the one's that died in the forest are a closer representation to how strong an average Genin is. If I was to calculate this value it'd be like 1 Sakura. So the problem with facing a Jonin this early on in my career is because one Jonin equals 1,000 Sakura's.

The sun hung high, with a festering heat starting to rise by the seconds, as two sides faced each other in a rocky clearing. The wind carried the metallic scent of blood, and the distant sound of explosions echoed. Carrying an oppressive weight, one wrong move could lead to your death.

The Iwa ninja, clad in grey, crouched low, his fingers forming quick seals. Opposite him, the three of us stood ready for our sensei's signal.

"Go all out from the start! If we find an opening I want the three of you to run back to our command center and inform them of our location." Bekko says while keeping his eyes on the enemy.

"Let's Go Team 10!" Shouts Sensei

"RIGHT!" All three of us shout simultaneously.

Our team can use the same strategy up to this point, but the chance of success is noticeably much lower. Bekko-sensei pulls out his katana and starts to engage in a close up taijutsu battle. Meanwhile Machi would circle the target and throw kunai but all of this missed the man. Earaning a round of mockery from him. Next Aoba would get some distance and start to use his genjutsu to disrubt the enemies vision. Seeing no other option I pulled out a kunai and threw the shuriken I had on me. I tried to look for an opening to catch him off guard.

CLANG! The weapons from Sensei and the enmey met as sparks scattered to the ground. Sensei spun, slicing horizontally, but the enemy ducked, planting a palm against the ground. Die! The man yelled as the ground reacted to his Explosion Release: Impact. The shockwave sent sensei back. But this didn't affect all of us as Machi's kunai was inches away from the man's face. But the man at the last second used Explosion Release: Landmine Fist.

It generates an enormous explosion from the opponent's insides. This explosion is powerful enough to completely obliterate objects.

Sensei recovers by spinning on his heel when he lands dashing back at the enemy with his blade trailing the floor. Determined to end the fight here.

Iwa shinobi looked unimpressed by his actions. "You can't be serious, again? Do you tree huggers not have any other moves? You already tried this."

The two clash and as the Iwa Jonin is about to make an explosion. Clang! The kunai the Iwa shinobi was carrying a moment ago is cut in half. Wind Release: Blade of Wind! Similar in the original fight between Hayate and Baki. Baki was able to flip the fight around by using this short-range wind technique on Hayate's blade. Originally when I watched it I was intrigued by the technique as it was hard to dodge and could cause the immediate death of the target. And like the original invisible like blades cut through the flesh of the Iwa Jonin, seemingly ending the fight. But Baki was a jonin, an elite jonin hand picked by his kage, being the sand's version of Kakashi. And who was Bekko-sensei, a chunin, a reliable chunin, but still not as impressive.

He cut down to the Jonin's right shoulder, going as deep as his clavicle. But instead of backing away the Iwa shinobi grabbed on to his sword with his left hand.

"I can't pull it out?" Says Bekko-sensei.

"Your sword technique is excellent for a Chunin, but still, the blade lacks enough of the blood needed to go any further. It's my own fault for lowering my guard just because your weak. If you had the chakra reserves of a Jonin that would have killed me. With that you have a minuscule amount of my respect. But this is the end for you." Says the Iwa ninja.

His hands move with lightning-fast quickness as he places a palm on Bekko-sensei's chest as a orange glow circles around the Jonin's palm. Boom!

A large explosion covers both of them, covering our vision. But when the dusk cloud lifts I see it. What I saw horrified me to my core, Bekko sensei was lying unmoving on the ground. His skin looked badly burnt, covered in a large pool of blood. But what caught my attention the most was the large gaping wound from the middle of sensei's chest as it looked like it was caved in with burnt spots.

"Bekko-sensei!!?" The three of us scream out.

He's dead. A wave of helplessness takes hold of our body as our best chance of escaping this nightmare left this world.

The three Genin stand there, un-blinking, with our faces notably pale, their breaths controlled but their hearts pounding. They had trained for this moment, prepared for a battle against an enemy of the Hidden Stone, but nothing could have readied them for what stood before them now—an Iwa Jonin, his presence alone radiating overwhelming power.

"You kids should've stayed in the Academy," the Jonin scoffed, his rugged face twisting into a smirk. "But since you're here… let's see if you can survive."

Without hesitation, Aoba, a normally calm if not clumsy Genin busted toward the enemy, with kunai in hand. "Bastard! I'll Kill you!" Aoba yells in a fit of rage.

His foot barely touched the ground before the Jonin slammed his fist into the earth, sending a ripple of stone spikes bursting upward. The boy flipped backward, barely avoiding being skewered, but as he landed, a shadow loomed over him—too late. The Jonin's elbow smashed into his stomach. "Secret Technique: Scattering Thousand Crows Technique!"

Much like his adult counterpart in the show his body burst into a flock of crows. As thousands of black feathers are scattered across the battlefield.

Hmm that's an interesting replacement jutsu you got there. But that's not going to save you. Secret Technique: Stone Needles, Machi Manages to catch the Jonin into a tough spot as it begins to paralyze the arm of the Jonin.

I gritted my teeth as now my chance to act, forming hand seals. Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet! I yell. I exhale a flame breath from my mouth. Small but rapid bursts of flame shot toward the Jonin, illuminating the battlefield.

The Jonin simply scoffed. His hands moved effortlessly. "Earth Style: Mud Wall!" A thick barrier of hardened rock shot up from the ground, absorbing the attacks. The kunoichi followed up, launching a barrage of shuriken laced with explosive tags, timing them perfectly with when the barrier would drop.

The smile on the Jonin's face drops as he is forced to move back. Machi grins, " You've finally been caught." The Jonin is about to question her when he sees it. Secret Technique: Manipulated Shuriken Wire Binding!

By using the kunai that missed him earlier she can manipulate the wire attached to them, setting up a trap for later. Managing to bind the Jonin, leaving him with no time to use hand signs to counter. Aoba walks from behind a boulder, frowning, walking with a calm, determined steps.

"This is for Sensei you, Fucking Bastard! Judai now!" Shouts Aoba

I give him a nod as we both make out the same hand signs. "Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet! (x2)"

A large bursts of flames combine at a rapid speed, illuminating the battlefield like a signal flame. With us able to hear the screams of our enemy wale across the clearing. As we've gotten our revenge for sensei.

The three of us walk side by side to examine the body of the shinobi. With us seeing a burnt corpse covered in ninja wire, confirming the kill. We all collectively let out a breath we didn't know we were holding in as it seems to be finally over.

Streeep! Like the sound of ripping paper in half me and Machi feeling a ominous wave of uncertainty as we have a creeping feeling that something terrible just happened. We hesitantly turn our heads to the middle of us, as each second our head turns feels like an eternity. In the middle of us we see a giant spiked pillar no bigger than our height. But as we turn our eyes to look further back we see the small traces of blood, with the blood only increasing the more we go south of the tip. There at the base of the spike our entire body goes numb, as their, with his eyes closed is the once figure of our friend, Aoba Yamashiro.
