"Good morning, students. I'm Technician Reeves, and I'll be overseeing your VR experience today. Please don't be nervous – we've conducted hundreds of these simulations safely over the years."
She gestured toward the nearest row of pods, each one glowing softly with internal light. "The process is quite simple from your perspective.
"You'll lie down inside the pod, place the neural interface headset over your temples, and then activate the system using the control panel near your right hand. The pod will do the rest."
Technician Reeves led them to a specific group of pods that had been prepared for their use, each one marked with a student's name on a glowing display near the entrance.
Creed found his assigned pod and was impressed by how spacious and comfortable it looked inside.
