The tiny bird chirped at him. Sebastian knew the bird couldn't understand him, but he didn't really care. As soon as the bird heals, he will let it go.
He removed his shirt from his body, feeling an intense stare on his back. It was like someone was poking him with a hot knife, stroking him leisurely.
He ignored it and used the shirt to wrap it around the tiny bird, doing his best to avoid its injured wings. He gently and carefully tightened the shirt around its body, and the bird shifted.
He wasn't sure if it was from startle or fear.
He carefully lifted the little thing in his arms and turned around to walk toward Atlas. Atlas was watching him, especially the injured little thing in his hand, with a sharp gaze.
He tilted his head and said, "I'm taking the little thing with me."
He saw the wolf snort, and he ignored him like he didn't care.
Sebastian sighed in relief and walked toward his back and asked, "Get down so I can get on."
