Chapter 359 - Chapter 359: Red Menace

"This is bad..."

Bruce Banner, now completely surrounded, looked at the police and soldiers closing in on him from all directions. His face was tense with anxiety.

As he considered his options, his gaze fell on the watch strapped to his wrist.

To the untrained eye, it was just a regular watch, useful only for telling time. But in reality, it contained a small dose of radioactive agents—specially crafted by Shin for emergencies and given to Bruce.

Initially, Bruce had adamantly refused to wear it. However, after persistent persuasion from Shin, he reluctantly put it on.

Even now, despite his dire situation, Bruce hesitated. Should he press the button on his watch and transform into the Hulk?

"Maybe... I should just surrender?"

The thought crossed his mind for a moment. Bruce had always been a kind-hearted man, reluctant to unleash the Hulk's destruction upon the world. He knew that if he transformed, these soldiers—mere humans—would stand no chance against him. A single swipe from the Hulk could send them flying.

But just as he was still wrestling with his thoughts, the sound of whirring helicopter blades filled the air. Looking up, Bruce's eyes widened in disbelief as he saw General Ross leaping from a military helicopter.

With a deafening crash, Ross slammed into the pavement, creating a massive crater.

Bruce's jaw dropped. Despite their adversarial history, Ross was still his girlfriend's father—his potential father-in-law. For a brief moment, Bruce forgot all hostility and instinctively took a step forward to check if Ross was hurt.

Then, the dust settled.

From the crater emerged a towering, hulking figure, its skin a deep, blood-red color. Though its form was nearly identical to the Hulk's, its aura was different—more feral and more controlled.

Bruce Banner swallowed hard. "Oh... this is the worst news."

Is there anything worse than your girlfriend's father, whom you accidentally injured in the past, showing up uninvited to your house?

Yes—realizing that your girlfriend's father has transformed into a red version of the Hulk.

Seeing the monstrous figure before him, Bruce didn't hesitate any longer. He pressed the button on his watch without a second thought.

There was no way he was going to stand there and hope Ross would just "capture" him instead of tearing him into pieces.

A green liquid was injected into his body, and Bruce immediately felt his pulse racing. His veins throbbed as if liquid fire was coursing through them. His pupils dilated, his breath quickened, and a powerful, familiar dizziness overtook him.

With an earth-shaking roar, Bruce Banner's frail human body jolted as his muscles bulged, growing into a monstrous, green behemoth. His shirt was instantly torn to shreds, leaving only his bright red shorts intact.

"HULK!"

"Hahaha!" General Ross—now fully transformed into the Red Hulk—let out a crazed laugh. "Yes! This is what I've been waiting for! Let's fight! I am the stronger one!"

Unlike Bruce, Ross retained his intelligence and personality after transforming, but the gamma radiation had altered his mind. He had become more arrogant, irritable, and consumed by his own strength.

His initial plan had been to capture Bruce, but the moment he transformed, all rationality was thrown aside. Now, all he wanted was to test his might against the Hulk.

Hulk's reaction was far more straightforward.

With a ground-shaking punch, he sent the Red Hulk flying through several buildings.

Ross wasted no time. He climbed out of the rubble and charged back at Hulk. The battle had begun.

The streets of Manhattan trembled as the two titanic figures clashed. Skyscrapers collapsed, the pavement cracked, and cars were tossed aside like mere toys.

At first, the Red Hulk had the upper hand, using his superior combat training to pummel Hulk relentlessly. Green blood splattered the battlefield as the Hulk reeled from the assault.

But then—Hulk got angrier.

And when Hulk gets angrier, he gets stronger.

His already massive body grew even larger. His muscles bulged with terrifying power, and his strikes became heavier, faster, and deadlier.

The Red Hulk, who had once dominated the fight, now found himself struggling. His punches landed with less and less impact.

Then—SMASH!

Hulk's fist connected, sending the Red Hulk stumbling backward. In one swift motion, Hulk grabbed his opponent's arm and spun him around like a ragdoll before slamming him into the pavement with enough force to leave a crater.

The Red Hulk gritted his teeth. "No... impossible! Why are you so strong?! I'm supposed to be the strongest!"

Hulk, unimpressed, simply roared in response.

In a last-ditch effort, Ross lunged forward, sinking his teeth into Hulk's shoulder.

Pain shot through Hulk's body, making him even angrier. His skin seemed to ripple as his muscles expanded once more, forcing Ross's jaw open.

The Red Hulk barely had time to react before Hulk grabbed his leg, lifted him into the air, and slammed him into the ground with enough force to send shockwaves through the city.

For nearly two full minutes, Hulk continued stomping the Red Hulk into the pavement, burying him deeper and deeper into a hole so dense that even diamond would have shattered under the pressure.

When Hulk finally stopped, he dragged the Red Hulk's battered body out of the crater.

Ross was barely conscious, a bloody mess. The once-mighty general now looked like nothing more than a broken doll.

Seeing the state of their leader, the surrounding soldiers hesitated. Some began lowering their weapons. Others turned to flee.

Then—

ROAR!

Hulk's furious roar echoed through the battlefield as he lifted the Red Hulk's limp body and threw him.

Like a cannonball, Ross hurtled through the air, smashing into a military helicopter that had been firing the most aggressively.

The pilot desperately tried to maneuver away, but the Red Hulk's body clipped the tail rotor, causing it to explode. The helicopter spun out of control, spiraling toward the ground.

As for General Ross?

No one knew where he landed.

Somewhere, in the night sky, he had vanished—just a red speck, soaring into the unknown.
