Chapter 285 - Chapter 285: Long Awaited Rematch!

Dressrosa had now become the forward base for the entire New World Pirates.

The three major pirate groups had gathered there, and with the Doflamingo family supplying vast amounts of resources, preparations for war were in full swing.

At this moment, Shin was conducting a grand distribution of Devil Fruits.

Over time, Shin had amassed an extensive collection of Devil Fruits through his plundering abilities. Since many of these fruits were of no use to him, he decided to distribute them among his subordinates to bolster their combat strength for the impending war.

There were at least dozens of Devil Fruits, many of which were of exceptional quality—such as the Nine-Tailed Fox Fruit, Sand-Sand Fruit, Gas-Gas Fruit, Sparrow-Tailed Mantis Shrimp Fruit, and the Return-Return Fruit. The infusion of these abilities significantly enhanced the fighting capabilities of pirate commanders.

Additionally, Shin summoned back some of his long-time followers, including siblings Ulti and Page One, using the Flying Thunder God Technique. Both of them had long desired Devil Fruits that complemented their combat styles—Page One obtained the Zoan-type Allosaurus Fruit, originally belonging to Rear Admiral X Drake, while Ulti acquired the Zoan-type Chameleon Fruit from a ruthless pirate known for plundering villages.

The fates of both previous fruit users were swiftly sealed—Shin extracted the Devil Fruits from them and proceeded to fuse Drake's Allosaurus Fruit with Page One's Spinosaurus Fruit, and the Chameleon Fruit with Ulti's Pachycephalosaurus Fruit.

The fusion yielded remarkable results: Page One's transformation now closely resembled a near-mythical beast in terms of strength and durability, while Ulti not only gained significant physical enhancements but also the ability to change color and become invisible.

Kyros, too, received a substantial upgrade. Shin fused the Sparrow-Tailed Mantis Shrimp Fruit with the Spring-Spring Fruit before granting it to him. Recognizing the immense power it offered—particularly in explosive burst attacks—Kyros set aside his pride in the swordsman's path and accepted the fruit. The results were staggering; he had grown so strong that even if he faced Doflamingo one-on-one, he now had an 80% chance of victory.

Leveraging the vast underground network of the Doflamingo family, Shin also acquired a collection of powerful corpses, which he regarded as his secret weapons. Among them were the remains of legendary figures such as Kozuki Oden, Gol D. Roger, and Rocks D. Xebec.

However, Shin refrained from resurrecting them for now—he needed to gauge the battlefield first. These individuals were wild cards, each possessing an overwhelming will and strength. Even someone like Kozuki Oden, who was generally noble, might act unpredictably upon revival. The last thing Shin wanted was for Oden to suddenly decide to reclaim Wano in the middle of the war.

Nonetheless, if the situation called for it, unleashing an army of resurrected legends could tip the scales of battle decisively in his favor.

Three Days Later.

The New World Pirates, fully assembled and battle-ready, finally set sail toward the New Marine Headquarters.

But before the grand confrontation began, Shin, in his colossal dragon form, soared ahead toward the Red Line Continent.

Upon reaching Mary Geoise, the holy land of the Celestial Dragons, he was met with an eerily familiar sight. Despite the looming war, the city appeared unchanged, its grandeur standing as if nothing had ever threatened it.

Except this time, Imu was waiting for him.

Standing in front of Mary Geoise, Imu's cold gaze locked onto Shin. There was no surprise, no hesitation—only an eerie, indifferent expression.

"Long time no see, Imu." Shin's voice boomed as he grinned. "I'm here for my revenge!"

Without further warning, he unleashed a devastating barrage—howling winds, roaring thunder, venomous flames—all converging into an apocalyptic wave that crashed down upon Imu like a raging sea.

Imu's eyes narrowed slightly. Raising a hand, a mysterious long sword manifested in her grasp. With a single sweeping motion, the oncoming tidal wave of destruction was split apart, scattering harmlessly into the air.

Of course, this was merely a warm-up.

High above, Shin shifted back into his human form, his hands forming intricate seals.

"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Jutsu!"

A radiant, white cube expanded from his palms, surging forward with destructive intent.

Imu's expression darkened. Her gaze flickered for a moment—predicting the attack's trajectory—before she vanished, dodging just in time.

The dust-release beam struck a nearby Mary Geoise structure, instantly reducing it to nothingness.

Shin didn't relent. His Rinnegan flashed ominously as he clapped his hands together once more.

"Heavenly Shattered Meteor!" (Tengai Shinsei)

From the sky, an enormous meteor, far larger than anything previously summoned, began its descent. Shin clicked his tongue in disappointment. If his enhanced devil fruit had been compatible to fuse with the More-More Fruit, he could have further enlarged the meteor to apocalyptic proportions, potentially obliterating the entire Red Line Continent in one strike.

Still, the sheer size and velocity of this meteor were enough to spell doom for Mary Geoise.

Imu's face twisted in frustration. As she prepared to intercept the meteor, she suddenly sensed movement—Shin had closed the gap instantly.

Boom!

With a devastating punch, Shin struck Imu's head directly, sending her crashing into the ground, shattering multiple buildings upon impact.

The five elders, who had been watching from a distance, paled in horror.

"H-How is this possible?! Lord Imu—"

"Silence! We must trust in Lord Imu's power! Our priority is the meteor!" another elder barked, regaining his composure.

Across Mary Geoise, World Government elites and CP0 agents launched every attack they had at the falling meteor. Shockwaves, elemental blasts, and slashes of unparalleled force bombarded it.

But against such a colossal force, their efforts were akin to throwing pebbles at a mountain.

Cracks formed on the meteor's outer shell, fragments breaking off and plummeting as smaller meteors. However, the core remained intact, continuing its unstoppable descent.

As chaos unfolded below, Shin hovered in the air, watching coldly.

"Let's see how long you can struggle."
