The following morning, Kael and Chloe could be seen walking side by side in their natural forms.
Kael was moving but his mind was on his energy reserves.
Unlike other lions, Kael didn't have one energy pool that powered him. Rather, he had multiple pools of energy to tap from.
He had a separate energy pool for his fire powers, and he had another separate energy pool for his lightning powers. It was the same for his space, vegetation, spirit, fortune, metal, air, and war powers.
This was what gave him an unfair advantage against other creatures. Not only did he have multiple sources of energy, he was also very versatile.
It was reasonable for him to last longer in battles and survive against creatures with greater power levels than him. If he couldn't do those things, then it would mean the Primordial Lionheart was wasted on him.
His only limit was output and skill which could be solved by evolving to more powerful tiers.
