"Kaido! Alex! What the hell are you trying to do?! Do you intend to make enemies of both our forces?!"
Sengoku's furious voice rang out across the battlefield, his frustration evident as he surveyed the devastation caused by the clash of Conqueror's Haki. The indiscriminate destruction had spared neither ally nor foe, with Marines and pirates alike lying unconscious in its wake.
Kaido, unconcerned, gave a dismissive laugh. "Do you even need to ask? In a war like this, only the strong have any right to matter!"
His tone was callous, and his expression showed no remorse for the chaos he had caused.
Alex , standing calmly in midair, smirked. "Don't worry," he said casually, his words making both the Marines and Whitebeard's pirates uneasy. "I don't care who wins or loses."
Hearing this, many in the Marine ranks couldn't help but exhale in relief. At the very least, if Alex wasn't siding with Whitebeard, it lessened the immediate threat to their cause.
"But…" Alex's voice turned sharp, his sly grin widening. "I just want to make sure this war has a truly spectacular ending."
As he spoke, he raised his hand and pointed a single finger toward the sky.
The gesture made everyone freeze, their eyes snapping upward in panic. Memories of his past destruction flashed in their minds—was he about to repeat the horrors of Island?
To their relief, the skies didn't hold another apocalyptic island ready to descend.
But something else did.
A small, dark object plummeted rapidly from the sky, growing larger as it approached. In the blink of an eye, the shadow crashed into the port of Marineford.
BOOM! BOOM!
The impact sent shockwaves rippling across the island, causing the ground to quake violently. Thick smoke and dust billowed into the air, obscuring the area around the port.
And then—
HOOSH!
A flash of blue light cut through the smoke, followed by the unmistakable hum of an electromagnetic cannon. The destructive energy blasted across the battlefield, tearing through both Marines and pirates alike. Explosions erupted in rapid succession, leaving devastation in their wake.
"Be careful! That's an electromagnetic gun from the Sky Kingdom!"
But Sengoku frowned deeply. "No… that's not right," he muttered. "The Flying Kingdom's electromagnetic cannons don't behave like this. They don't fire in rapid bursts like that. And this… this feels more like a Pacifista's laser than an electromagnetic weapon."
As if to confirm his suspicions, the smoke began to clear, blown away by the force of the continuous attacks.
The figure revealed in the dust and debris left everyone stunned.
A hush fell over the battlefield, the silence so absolute it seemed even the sound of the sea had stopped. Marines, pirates, and onlookers alike stared, their eyes wide with disbelief and their jaws slack as though they might dislocate.
What stood before them was a colossal figure nearly nine meters tall. She wore a pirate hat perched on long pink, curly hair and a wide pink dress adorned with a large "0" symbol. Her imposing presence and unmistakable visage were burned into the memories of all who saw her.
The collective realization hit like a hammer, spreading cold fear across the battlefield.
It was Big Mom.
Charlotte Linlin.
The name struggled to escape trembling lips, whispered by Marines, pirates, and spectators around the world:
"B-BI… BIG… BIG MOM?!"
Her mere presence sent a wave of terror rippling across Marineford. Faces turned pale, cold sweat breaking out on foreheads as everyone's worst fears materialized before their eyes.
Big Mom, one of the legendary pirates of the seas, a rival to the likes of Roger and Golden Lion Shiki, had entered the fray.
She was one of the original Four Emperors, once hailed as the Pirate Queen.
"Wasn't this monster dead for years?! How is she here now?!"
Those who faced the figure of Charlotte Linlin stared in abject horror, their skin crawling as if they'd seen a ghost.
"Big Mom," the towering figure rumbled, casting a sweeping glance across the battlefield. Her massive form seemed unshakable, a living nightmare etched into everyone's memories.
But then, something even more horrifying happened.
Her enormous belly split open, creating a dark, gaping hole. From it, countless smaller versions of Big Mom, each only a few tens of centimeters tall, began pouring out.
As the diminutive figures landed on the ground, they began to grow rapidly, expanding into full-sized clones—each nearly nine meters tall. In moments, an army of Big Moms surrounded the battlefield, their sheer size and numbers enough to crush any hope of resistance.
"What… how can there be so many Big Moms?!"
The stunned cries of Marines and pirates alike rang out as the surreal sight unfolded.
The next moment, over a dozen of the clones opened their mouths simultaneously. A brilliant light began to gather in their throats—identical electromagnetic cannons, brimming with destructive energy.
BOOM!
A blinding barrage of electromagnetic blasts tore through the battlefield, the beams ripping into the ground with devastating force.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The explosions echoed across Marineford, shaking the entire port. Smoke and fire erupted into the air as shockwaves spread like hurricanes, leveling structures and hurling debris across the battlefield.
In the wake of the bombardment, craters pockmarked the once-proud Marineford, and bodies—both Marines and pirates—lay scattered in the devastation.
"That's not Big Mom!" Sengoku's voice rang out through a Den Den Mushi, his commanding tone cutting through the chaos. "The Soul-Soul Fruit was consumed by Empress Hancock long ago! These are humanoid weapons—like Pacifistas!"
A Marine Commodore, emboldened by the declaration, gripped his blade tightly. "If they're not Big Mom, there's nothing to fear!" he shouted, leaping forward with a Soru to close the distance. In an instant, he brought his blade down with all his might on the broad chest of one of the clones.
CLANG!
The sound of the strike reverberated, but his blade didn't pierce the target. Instead, the sheer force of the impact sent the Commodore reeling backward, his arm trembling from the shock.
"How is that possible?! I even used Haki!" he gasped, his voice filled with disbelief.
Before he could recover, the clone's massive fist hurtled toward him.
BOOM!
The punch landed with devastating power, sending the Commodore flying like a cannonball. He smashed through several buildings before collapsing unconscious, buried in rubble.
At another corner of the port, a pirate wielding a rocket launcher yelled in defiance. "Let's blow them to pieces!" he roared, firing a volley of rockets at two advancing clones.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Explosions engulfed the area in thick, roiling smoke.
But when the smoke cleared, the clones emerged unscathed, their massive frames glowing with arcs of blue lightning. Without hesitation, they retaliated with electromagnetic blasts, obliterating the pirate and his comrades in an instant.
The clones continued their relentless march, laying waste to everything in their path. They showed no allegiance, attacking both Marines and pirates indiscriminately, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
The battlefield, already in chaos, descended into further disarray.
Whitebeard's forces could withstand the onslaught to some degree, but the Marines found themselves in a particularly dire situation. Fighting alongside the pirates against a common enemy was unthinkable, especially with the video snails broadcasting the war to the entire world.
