After promising to use the power of the Dragon Balls to resurrect the fallen warriors, Yuujin finally managed to comfort Launch.
Without lingering any longer, Yuujin bid farewell to Launch, Mai, and the other women before returning to Earth with Gokumi, the others, and Broly.
Upon returning home, Yuujin explained what had transpired on the frontlines to Bulma and the others, while also introducing Broly to them. As expected, their reactions were filled with shock—
"The Legendary Super Saiyan?"
"She alone nearly wiped out our army?"
"And it took the combined efforts of you, Gokumi, and Vegea to stop her?!"
Bulma, Tights, Chi-Chi, 18, and even Dark Android 18 all stared at Broly with looks of astonishment, as if they were seeing a monster.
According to Yuujin's account, Broly had indeed done something extraordinary!
"Unbelievable. She looks so slender, nothing particularly special about her physique…"
"Ah, well… As expected of a Saiyan from the same race as Yuujin."
Android 18 kept scrutinizing Broly, while Tights stood dumbfounded in amazement.
"Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan, a warrior who appears only once every thousand years. Although she looks slim, her power is incredibly overwhelming."
"Mhm! Broly is really strong! She even beat Vegea until she coughed up blood!"
Yuujin stroked Broly's forehead as Gokumi chimed in.
"Kakarot, are you looking for a fight?!"
With a darkened expression, Vegea spoke coldly.
"Not at all."
"I wasn't lying, Vegea. You really did get beaten up until you spat blood."
Gokumi looked utterly innocent, as if she had no idea why Vegea was suddenly getting angry.
Vegea's mouth twitched—right now, she wanted nothing more than to make Gokumi spit blood too!
Seeing Vegea and Gokumi bickering, everyone else couldn't help but laugh.
—
"Broly, welcome to Earth."
"I'm Bulma, one of Yuujin's wives. Let's all get along from now on."
Noting how much Yuujin valued Broly, Bulma stepped forward and greeted her warmly.
However, Broly only glanced at Bulma before instinctively moving closer to Yuujin, showing clear reluctance to acknowledge her.
"Haha… Hahaha…"
"She doesn't seem to like me very much."
Bulma felt a little awkward.
"Broly isn't much of a talker, and she's quite withdrawn. Don't take it personally."
"The expeditionary force suffered heavy losses this time, and Launch is devastated. Bulma, please take the Dragon Balls to her and revive the fallen warriors."
After explaining Broly's personality, Yuujin changed the topic.
"That's fine, but Yuujin, you mentioned before that each time we use the Dragon Balls, they accumulate negative energy. If too much negative energy builds up, they could transform into uncontrollable Evil Dragons."
"We've been using the Dragon Balls quite frequently lately. Are you sure this won't be a problem?"
Bulma nodded but voiced her concern.
They had indeed used the Dragon Balls too many times recently. If they lost control and created Evil Dragons, they wouldn't be able to handle the consequences.
"Let's use them just this once more."
"After this, we'll seal the Dragon Balls inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. From now on, unless absolutely necessary, no one is allowed to use them so recklessly."
After a moment of silence, Yuujin made his decision.
While the Dragon Balls were convenient, they carried great risks. Yuujin was fully aware of this.
But since he had already given his word to Launch, he wouldn't go back on it.
"Alright, I'll take them over shortly."
Since Yuujin had decided, Bulma didn't press further.
—
With this, the matter was settled. Bulma delivered the Dragon Balls to Launch, who then used them to revive the fallen warriors of the expeditionary force.
Meanwhile, Yuujin devoted all his time to training Broly.
As a warrior, Broly was exceptional. Being the Legendary Super Saiyan, she didn't even need to train like Yuujin and Gokumi—her power would naturally increase with age.
However, outside of combat, Broly severely lacked basic skills and common knowledge.
Paragus had only ever seen Broly as a tool for conquest, intending to use her power to rule the universe. To him, Broly only needed to fight—any other knowledge or skills were unnecessary.
But Yuujin didn't want Broly to be just a weapon. He wanted her to be a real person, someone who could live alongside them as family.
So, he first took her around to explore different places, helping her familiarize herself with the Lookout and Earth. Then, every day, he patiently taught her basic life skills and knowledge, just like he had done when Gokumi was little.
Broly wasn't particularly bright; in fact, she was rather slow. Teaching her was a painstaking process—she often failed to grasp concepts, and even when she did, she would soon forget them again. Her dull and clumsy nature could probably drive any teacher in the world to madness.
Yet, Yuujin never showed any frustration. He patiently guided her, over and over, until she could remember and understand.
Many times, Yuujin couldn't help but think—if he had taken Broly with him when he escaped Planet Vegeta, maybe she wouldn't have turned out like this.
But there were no "ifs" in this world. Being able to reunite with Broly and bring her into his family was already a great outcome.
Though Broly's learning process was slow, over time, she gradually adapted to life on the Lookout and Earth.
At first, she only trusted Yuujin, allowing only him near her while rejecting everyone else with cold indifference or outright hostility. Even the maids couldn't help her change clothes.
Since childhood, Paragus had raised Broly as nothing more than a weapon, constantly sending her to destroy and fight. To her, everyone was a potential enemy—someone who could harm her.
However, as time passed, even the slow-witted Broly realized that the people here weren't like those she had encountered before. Instead of hostility, they showed her kindness. No one wanted to hurt her.
It was an unfamiliar and strange feeling, yet also warm in a way she didn't dislike.
Gradually, Broly stopped rejecting them. She allowed the maids to help her change clothes, brush her hair, and wash up. After playing with Gokumi a few times and receiving some of her treasured snacks, she even stopped treating Gokumi as an annoyance—which moved Gokumi to tears.
Seeing Broly change day by day made Yuujin very happy.
Now that Broly had adapted to life here, it was time to consider how to train her power…
