The chaotic scene lasted for a long time, resembling a planetary collision. A massive crater, tens of thousands of meters wide, was carved into the nameless planet.
And this was just the destruction visible from afar. The aftermath of the explosion had spread across the entire planet. Fortunately, no prosperous ecological civilization had yet developed here; otherwise, everything would have been completely annihilated!
High in the sky, Celipa, carrying Paragus, felt lingering fear as she cast a grateful glance at Sharuru.
"Sharuru, thank you."
If Sharuru hadn't used Instant Transmission to take her away in time, she would have been caught in the explosion. Even if she survived, she would have been severely injured.
"It was just a small effort."
"The battle below seems to be over. Let's return to the master."
Sharuru said.
"Alright."
After sensing the energy fluctuations, Sharuru and Celipa shot toward where Yuujin and the others were.
"Cough cough..."
"Gokumi, Vegea, are you two alright?"
"We're fine... barely."
Covered in dust and debris, Yuujin climbed out from the ruins and quickly found Gokumi and Vegea.
They had underestimated Broly's power. Even with the three of them working together, they had almost failed to suppress her, leading to that terrifying explosion that nearly wiped them out.
But in the end, they succeeded.
After flying for a short distance, Yuujin, Gokumi, and Vegea soon found Broly at the center of the massive crater.
Being at the heart of the explosion, even Broly couldn't escape unscathed. She had reverted to her normal form and lay on the ground, seemingly unconscious.
Her energy was weak, and her injuries were severe. However, Yuujin sighed in relief.
As long as she wasn't dead, she could still be saved.
Yuujin picked up Broly and took out a Senzu Bean, preparing to feed it to her, but Vegea suddenly grabbed his hand.
"Vegea, what are you doing?"
Yuujin frowned, looking at Vegea.
"I should be asking you that! Are you really planning to save this monster?"
"She's our enemy! And she can't even control her own power! What if she goes berserk again after you heal her?!"
Vegea's sharp gaze locked onto Yuujin, his voice cold.
"Vegea, Broly is not our enemy. She was only following Paragus' orders."
"Yes, she's dangerous, but as long as there's no fight, she won't go on a rampage so easily."
"Don't worry. Even if she loses control again, we can stop her."
Yuujin said firmly.
"Yeah, Yuujin is right!"
"It would be such a waste to let Broly die like this. Vegea, just let Yuujin save her."
Gokumi chimed in.
Having witnessed Broly's immense power, Gokumi wanted to have a proper battle with her someday. Letting Broly die here would be a shame.
Vegea's expression shifted several times before she finally snorted and released Yuujin's hand.
"Hmph. I've warned you. Just don't regret it later."
Understanding Vegea's stubborn nature, Yuujin chuckled inwardly but didn't argue further.
He placed the Senzu Bean in Broly's mouth and gently pressed her throat, helping her swallow it.
Almost immediately, Broly's wounds began to heal at a visible speed, and her weakened energy quickly returned to normal.
Yuujin let out a small sigh of relief before lightly patting Broly's cheek.
"Broly, wake up."
Under their watchful gazes, Broly slowly opened her eyes.
"How are you feeling, Broly?"
Yuujin asked.
Still somewhat dazed, Broly didn't immediately respond. She simply stared at Yuujin blankly while lying in his arms.
"Broly?"
Seeing her unresponsive, Yuujin called out again.
Broly suddenly snapped back to reality, and a bright smile appeared on her face.
"Yuujin... like."
She spoke simply.
Completely different from her uncontrollable rage before, Broly now seemed like an innocent child.
Yuujin was briefly stunned but soon chuckled, gently patting her forehead.
"I like you too, Broly."
Enjoying the sensation, Broly squinted her eyes and revealed an even happier expression.
Watching her, Yuujin couldn't help but sigh internally.
Broly might not remember their time together as children, but her body still recognized Yuujin's presence, responding instinctively with trust and affection.
For Yuujin, this was a good thing.
After all, he intended to bring Broly to his side. If she hated him, that would be troublesome.
"Broly, I'm so glad you're okay!"
Gokumi moved closer, trying to befriend Broly.
But when Broly looked at Gokumi, her expression immediately turned cold.
"Kakarot... hate."
"Ehh?! Why do you still hate me?!"
Gokumi exclaimed in shock, feeling utterly betrayed.
"Haha, don't worry, Gokumi. Spend more time with Broly, and she'll warm up to you."
Yuujin chuckled and ruffled Gokumi's hair to comfort her.
Back on Planet Vegeta, Broly and Gokumi had often been near each other. However, Broly's uncontrollable power frequently caused energy surges that scared baby Gokumi into crying loudly.
Though Broly herself was quiet and reserved, Gokumi's constant wailing must have annoyed her back then. That lingering memory likely triggered her instinctual dislike now.
As the Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly might not be the smartest, and she even seemed a bit slow-witted at times, but her instincts and intuition were incredibly sharp!
"Broly, don't follow Paragus anymore. Come with us instead."
"Don't be his tool. Be our companion... our family."
Yuujin looked into Broly's eyes and spoke sincerely.
Leaving Broly with Paragus was both dangerous and a waste of her potential. Of course, Yuujin wanted her strength as an ally, but more importantly, he respected her right to choose her own path.
"Companion? Family?"
Broly blinked in confusion, seemingly unfamiliar with those words.
"Companions and family mean we fight together, live together, and support each other."
Yuujin patiently explained.
Broly tilted her head, thinking for a moment.
Then she nodded.
"Okay."
