"Stop"
"Honcho…" Hodgard cried out.
"Don't hurt them."
"Don't hurt them? I thought you wanted to show them. That's just what I'm doing, fulfilling your sweet wish." It giggled at him. "Ohhh, I know, you can't watch right? Right, why don't you… go to sleep?" Kaina's consciousness faded away into the darkness leaving his friends at the mercy of this unknown entity.
"This isn't you… Honcho"
"You know, for a guy your size, you sure do whine a lot." The voice came from Kaina. The sinister tone accompanying it sent chills down their spines.
"It's all me. I've always wanted to let lose you see." He chuckled at them. "To reach my full potential. If you stand in my way, I'll crush you." It assured them with a confident grin.
Hodgard groaned and squeezed his fist, coming to realization of the situation at hand.
"Ranfa." He called out. "I'll follow, you lead. I don't think Honcho is in there anymore."
"Heh" he scoffed. "Good to see you sticking your spine out."
The two hulking teenagers rushed at Kaina, one at the left and the other the right. As if synchronized to each other's attacks, they both swung up at him quickly, and Kaina effortlessly stopped it with the palm of his hands to both attacks. They sprung up successively and spun around, the force of their spin exited in a straight back hand attack from both sides in an attempt to sandwich his head but was brought to a turbulent halt into Kaina's grasp once again. His right hand had stopped Hodgard's heavy left and his left to Ranfa's heavy right.
The ground beneath him began to cry out, the floor cracked and before they both could tell what was going on, they were taken by surprise. "Is this some kind of joke?" Ranfa thought to himself in that moment. He couldn't help but turn his attention to his feet and to his surprise, he had been lifted off the ground. His eyes quickly trailed to his left to Hodgard and Hodgard had been subjected to the same treatment. Of all the times they came clashing with the Blue Peacocks, Hikami Kaina had never been able to lift him off his feet, Ranfa took pride in his physique and so, this was something he had never thought he would see Kaina do to him.
Before he could grasp the entirety of the situation, a rush of wind brushed against his skin and reeled him back to reality and like two Frisbees, they sailed through the wind. Ranfa; through the wind struggled and tilted his head upwards enough to see what Kaina was up to. Kaina saw that Ranfa had seen him, then as if to taunt him, he smirked evidently at him and took a step and vanished from his line of sight and immediately appeared atop him. Kaina spun through the air, a lateral swing of his leg came digging directly into Ranfa's abdomen. The teen boy groaned as blood came spewing out of his mouth. And Kaina pushed much force on the attack and hammered Ranfa through the floor boards. The resounding sound of breaking woods came echoing as Ranfa went through the floors of the house. Then, successively; Hodgard had seen and braced himself mid-air, a sudden torrent of a fistful of attacks came rushing at him, the hot wind grazed his body over and over again, 8 punches in total and just when he thought he had fended off the attack, releasing his defensive stance, Kaina's leg dug horizontally into Hodgard's mid rib and kicked him through the floor as he had done Ranfa.
A hot moist breeze escaped Kaina's mouth as he sighed. Hands to his elbows and heads up looking at roof. His eyes gleaming with ecstasy. "Let's take this up a notch!"
A hot wind blew past them and before anyone could even trace what it was, the ominous presence demanded they all turned their attentions where it deemed fit.
It was on the upper stairs the students were leaving through, with only a handful of about 20 students behind and visible. There was Ohga and Yousef at the farthest back of the line, then Mira. All eyes came drawing to the attention of the being in their midst, Khay, Trilith, Amine, Yegan, Kai, Ohga, Yousef, Mira. And just when their eyes had managed to track unto Kaina, he cracked a wide sinister smirk and before anyone could take a defensive stance or even attack, a sphere emanating a reddish hue manifested around Kaina and pulsed around him blowing everyone in a 2meter radius around him away.
"Hahaha! Isn't this the best? I didn't know he could do this." He bawled out complimenting himself.
Rushing footsteps ascended the stairs through the smokescreen and was immediately followed by a fist to Kaina's mid-rib that catapulted him from the stairs and back through the opening in the wall.
"Mira!!" Amine shouted. She was one of the few that suffered the brunt of Kaina's attack. "She's not breathing!" He lifted his head and looked up. The hall's guard rails had been bent, the remaining students at the back had been displaced all around the hall and unconscious.
"Yegan" Kai called out.
"Yeah." He put his palm behind his waist then, a sheathed sword of about 26cms manifested out of thin air. He grabbed unto the hilt and pulled it out and suddenly vanished. Quickly, Kai followed.
Kaina was yet still propelling from the force of Khay's punch and went slamming through wall after wall after wall and finally to a hammering stop and into the wall like a pinball dented into the ground. He pulled himself from the wall. "That! Kaina, hurt." He chuckled.
The wind suddenly whistled under the sharp cutting pressure of Yegan's short sword quickly descending on Kaina. His eyes widened in surprise… then…"Katchanng". It came to a halt, inches away from his face and in betwixt his palms. The sound of metal against hardened flesh resounded as they struggled for domination.
"I thought you all were going to take it easy on me." He chuckled at Yegan; stuck in the air and over his short sword.
"Yeah, but you've crossed the line." His mind glossed over the scene of the unconscious and injured students at the hall.
Kaina's eyes quickly traced downwards to his right, Kai had arrived at the scene and dug his fist into Kaina's side; landing a heavy body shot that blew the surrounding with wind but was of no effect to Kaina. Then, the surroundings seethed with a subtle sizzle, a red sphere appeared and disappeared as quickly as it came. Yegan groaned and let out a loud battled cry, twisting the handle of his sword, and like a calling sign, fire came spewing out of the short sword and took Kaina by surprise. While Kaina was still pondering on what had just happened, the window of opportunity allowed Yegan to push his weight unto the short sword; the fire roared as if responding to Yegan's battle cry and exploded; pushing Kaina through the floors of the Hoffer's mansion. They watched him break through one floor and another. Sweat dripped down Yegan's face as he huffed and huffed, catching his breath.
"This sword…" he exhaled, catching his breath. "Sure does expend a lot of zhin."
