Inside Hui's villa, Yoruichi hadn't woken up yet.
In truth, her injuries were already healed.
The reason she hadn't regained consciousness was that she was undergoing a transformation. During the previous battle, Yoruichi's essence, energy, and spirit had condensed to their peak, even breaking through the shackles of her body with the power of her will, allowing her to surpass her limits.
This kind of breakthrough came with a heavy price, however.
As achieving this state meant, pushing one's body to the very limit, depleting the essence, energy, and spirit of oneself, essentialy resulting in one's own foundation curumbling in on itself.
If Yoruichi's opponent in that battle hadn't been Hui, if Hui hadn't intended to heal her, then Yoruichi's current state wouldn't be transformation, but utter ruin.
But there were no "ifs." Everything was predestined.
Perhaps this was the power of fate.
Hui had been reading all night, yet he still looked radiant.
The knowledge recorded in the books also recorded human wisdom.
Although in this world, humans didn't seem to have superpowers or extraordinary beings, as these books didn't mention anything related to supernatural, they did contain many brilliant ideas.
A person's strength didn't solely come from external power, but also originated from their own soul, will, and conviction.
Only by possessing a sufficiently strong will could one control their powerful strength and avoid becoming a slave to it.
Cultivation wasn't just about increasing strength; it was also about cultivating the mind.
"Hmm? alone?"
Sensing a familiar spiritual pressure, Hui looked into the distance, where a figure was approaching the villa.
Soon, the newcomer entered Hui's field of vision. He was a man with light yellow, slightly spiky hair, military green eyes, and a bit of stubble on his chin.
He wore a dark green short jacket with light green pants and geta sandals, topped with a green and white fisherman's hat.
It was Kisuke Urahara.
As Hui looked at Urahara, the latter seemed to sense Hui's gaze and looked up.
With just a glance, Urahara knew that this seemingly handsome, young man was the mysterious human who had caused chaos in Soul Society, single-handedly suppressing the entire Gotei 13.
His aura was simply too unique; such an aura absolutely couldn't belong to an ordinary person.
"Hello there, my cat's gone missing. You haven't seen it, have you?" Urahara spoke with a light and casual tone, flashing a wide, toothy smile at Hui.
He was a humorous and easygoing man.
Even knowing that the human before him possessed the power to easily kill him, he remained calm and collected.
"And what if I did?" Hui responded calmly.
The other's humor didn't leave any impression on him. As his power grew, and as the duration he could keep his Celestial Eye active lengthened, Hui's emotions had become increasingly stable.
It was difficult for him to experience emotional fluctuations.
He was less and less affected by the outside world.
Kisuke Urahara observed the tranquil Hui, his heart growing heavy. He could clearly tell that the other's calmness wasn't an act, nor was it a forced composure.
It was a natural, matter-of-fact tranquility.
Such a person was extremely dangerous.
He sighed inwardly. As expected, it was too early to meet him. He wasn't prepared at all.
"If you've seen it, could you tell me where it is?" Urahara asked.
He could sense Yoruichi's presence here.
"Right here." Hui said, waving his hand. Yoruichi, encased in an amber-like substance, appeared beside him out of thin air.
This scene shocked Urahara, but he quickly relaxed.
He could see that Yoruichi was unharmed; her life force was strong.
And it seemed her body was undergoing some sort of transformation... This surprised Urahara, as he had been researching the Hōgyoku, an object that could facilitate the evolution of Shinigami.
"You want her?" Hui asked, a smile playing on his lips. "What price are you willing to pay?"
Urahara was stunned by these words, but he quickly composed himself.
After a few seconds of silence, he asked, "What do you want, honored sir?" He looked at Hui intently.
Based on the information he'd gathered, this human had never revealed his true objective.
He'd claimed he wanted a satisfying battle, but that reason was too absurd.
While there were battle maniacs like Kenpachi Zaraki and Retsu Unohana, their desire for combat was always openly displayed from the start; they actively sought out numerous opponents.
However, this mysterious human had appeared in this world for the first time and immediately declared his desire for a good fight.
This was simply unconvincing.
And now, he was actively demanding something.
This was a good opportunity to understand the other party's goal.
"Let's see what you can offer." Hui didn't directly state his desires, instead throwing the ball back into Urahara's court, letting him make the choice.
"Well then, how about...a ray of sunshine? A gentle breeze? A warm greeting?" Urahara said in what he considered a humorous and witty manner.
He didn't want to miss this opportunity to probe the mind of this mysterious human.
Unfortunately, clever people often outsmarted themselves.
Humor and wit depended on the situation, timing, and the person they were directed at.
Hui seemed approachable, but that didn't mean he actually was. He wouldn't give a good reception to someone trying to be too clever.
Therefore, a terrifying pressure bore down on Urahara.
This was a manifestation of will, Conqueror's Haki!
"What do you think?" Hui asked, his expression unchanged.
However, Urahara felt as if he'd fallen into an icy abyss, crushed by an unbearable weight.
His knees buckled, and he nearly fell to his knees.
In this moment, he finally understood just how terrifying the power of the person who had single-handedly suppressed the Gotei 13 truly was.
Such power made his hair stand on end and his body tremble.
Urahara had a feeling that if this human wanted to kill him, it would likely be as simple as moving a finger.
"Ha, haha. I truly don't know what you want, honored sir." But he still forced himself to speak, a hint of helplessness in his tone.
This human was unexpectedly difficult to deal with.
Hui fell silent for a moment. To be honest, he didn't see anything he wanted from Urahara.
"Then wait until you know what I need, or until you find something you think can satisfy me, then come back." Hui didn't want to waste any more words with him.
With a wave of his hand, Urahara vanished from the spot.
He reappeared in his own small shop.
Standing at the entrance, Urahara was drenched in cold sweat, his body chilled to the bone.
