"Ez...it's the middle of the night, we need to stop doing this in your office." Love whispered, breathlessly as she broke apart from Ezra's cold lips.
"Ah, but I wanted to congratulate the new Lieutenant, and you seem to enjoy it my Love...I can't have you growing bored of me." He chuckled, running his lips over the side of her neck and Love repressed the urge to flinch away.
Since waking from the simulation, Love had exhausted the energy that would often begin to swirl inside of her chest at Ezra's touch.
However, what once was a relatively small reaction that she was able to easily push aside, was now a raging whirlpool since regaining her strength.
At every touch in his presence, Love found that she had to work far harder than before to restrict the reaction in her body, and push the energy back into a manageable form.
