Chapter 392 - Immortal Evil God Statue and the Kingdom’s End

Rosen took out two King Cards and found a big difference between them.

His own King Card, after destroying many kingdoms, now had a gorgeous golden border pattern around its edges.

As for the King Card belonging to the Star Coin True God, the image of the king on the card was originally blurry, but after the True God's death, the indistinct portrait transformed into the likeness of the Star Coin True God, as if he had been sealed into the card itself.

Before Rosen could study it further, the Sky King, who had been chasing the Star Coin True God, finally arrived late.

Through his All-Knowing Magic Eye's close-range perception, Rosen confirmed that this was indeed the Sky King who had been erased by the game authority backlash.

It seemed that another avatar of the GM had used game authority to revive the Sky King.

However, of all the avatars, only the Sky King had been revived.

This suggested that even if the Sky King wasn't the GM's main body, he was definitely one of the closest to the original—just like how the Yinglong avatar and mass-produced Eternal Avatars had a clear hierarchy. Otherwise, the Chaotic Pointer wouldn't be in his hands.

The moment he saw Rosen, the Sky King turned and fled without hesitation.

His speed was so fast that even Rosen couldn't catch up.

Of course, Rosen hadn't planned on chasing him. Right now, the most important thing was to obtain the other two King Cards.

In the Scepter Kingdom, the Scepter True God was in a much better position than the Star Coin True God.

Because standing in the Scepter Royal City was an enormous and magnificent statue—not a king's statue, but one that radiated boundless evil, a humanoid figure so corrupting that just looking at it tainted one's spirituality.

Even Rosen's All-Knowing Magic Eye couldn't see through the statue, though he could be sure it belonged to an Immortal God-Demon level being.

It was obvious that this was a trump card given to the Scepter True God by the entity behind him.

As for why the Star Coin True God had no such trump card, it was probably because he'd been abandoned from the very beginning.

So from the start, the Star Coin True God only had a beginner's package, but no hidden cheats.

Just like the Scepter True God, the Sword King also revealed his hidden card.

However, instead of a mysterious Immortal God-Demon level statue, it was a crossbow of the same level.

At this point, Rosen felt a bit lucky that he had come to the Scepter Kingdom first instead of the Sword Kingdom.

Because the Sky King, who had arrived at the Sword Kingdom around the same time as Rosen, hadn't even gotten close to the royal city before being instantly killed by a bolt from the terrifying crossbow wielded by the Sword True God.

Even though both remaining enemies were tough, Rosen had to crush them regardless of how hard they were.

Comparatively, the Scepter True God seemed easier to handle.

The Miracle Golem advanced toward the Scepter Royal City carrying the battle chessboard. Countless battle pieces flew out of the board one after another. After all, Rosen hadn't killed everyone when he destroyed all those kingdoms—most of the captured Beyonders had been thrown into the chessboard and transformed into chess pieces.

Even though the success rate for forced conversions was low, a vast number of new battle pieces had still been created.

Now, hundreds of thousands of Sequence 3 battle pieces formed ranks and charged toward the Scepter Royal City.

Noticing the enemy's approach, the Scepter King appeared on the city walls. After weighing his options, he immediately activated the Evil God Statue.

Defending the royal city against hundreds of thousands of Sequence 3 battle pieces wouldn't be difficult.

But such a defense would certainly result in heavy casualties. While Rosen's army was strong and wouldn't mind the losses, the Scepter King couldn't bear to lose his own soldiers. So instead of grinding it out, he directly used the Evil God Statue to try and make Rosen retreat.

At the Scepter True God's command, the statue towering over the royal city came to life.

With a single stride, it appeared before Rosen and instantly unfurled a world governed by Evil God laws.

Even Great True Gods only commanded domains of laws and could at most merge those domains with their personal worlds.

But Immortal God-Demons were different—their law domains were completely fused with their Immortal Worlds.

Laws are born from worlds, and Immortal Worlds exist independently of the new and old worlds created by ancient gods. These worlds possess their own independent world origin, so in theory, they can give birth to all laws. However, that doesn't mean the more laws, the better.

It was as if the new world had myriad laws, yet in reality, all of them were merely derivatives of the World Law.

In the new world, there was truly only one law: the World Law.

The Immortal Worlds of the Immortal Deities and Demons also possessed only a single, true law. All other laws were just derivatives of that one law. Of course, some Immortal Worlds that had lost their masters gradually became influenced by the outside world, leading to the internal laws being assimilated over time.

That was why the Dragon Realm was inferior to the Abyssal World—because the Dragon Realm had gradually been assimilated by the new world.

As a result, the Dragon God Law, which was once the sole law of the Dragon Realm, had its power dispersed and was assimilated by external forces, giving rise to a variety of laws similar to those in the outside world. In contrast, the Abyssal World, with only the Abyssal Law, had a law far stronger than the diluted Dragon God Law.

At that moment, the law world unfolded by the Evil God Statue was a fragment cut from an Immortal World.

Though not as complete as a true Immortal World, it still had one and only one law within it.

"Looks like everything ultimately boils down to specialization."

Rosen could feel the Hell Law continuously corrupting his divinity.

It seemed the core remnants of Hell formed the main material of this Evil God Statue.

The being behind the Scepter King was, unsurprisingly, the will of the world and the Immortal Evil God deep within the ruins of Hell.

Facing the law world of the Immortal Evil God—facing the Hell Law that had been maximally reinforced by the Immortal World—

Rosen also unfolded his Law Domain, enveloping the Evil God Statue within it.

Then he cast Canvas Descent, bringing the Horror Amusement Park into reality.

The Evil God Statue was dragged into Silver King's City, yet the bizarre rules of the entire King's Amusement Park couldn't suppress the Evil God Statue.

So, the only option was to control the entire city's Silver Artificial Humans and send them fearlessly to attack the Evil God Statue.

The statue dispelled its external law world and unfolded a new one inside Silver King's City. Silver Artificial Humans were quickly assimilated into hellish creatures by the Hell Law, while the statue locked onto the greatest threat: the Silver King.

With the amplifications of the King's Amusement Park and Silver King's City, the Silver King retained power on par with a great True God.

Though the Evil God Statue was of Immortal Deity and Demon rank, it was not a true Immortal being—merely between a great True God and a half-step Immortal Deity and Demon. Still, it wasn't someone the Silver King could handle alone.

That was why the Iron King and Gold King had already been teleported by Rosen to Silver King's City.

The moment the three Kings came into contact, they merged into one as a trinity.

Although they were still at a disadvantage due to the law world's terrifying reinforcement of the Hell Law, there was no clear victor in the short term.

Rosen put away the miracle painting of the Horror Amusement Park. The confidence that had enveloped the True God of the Scepter instantly vanished from atop the city wall.

Rosen once again unfolded his Law Domain, transforming it into a spear and thrusting it at the defensive barrier of Scepter King's City.

Strike after strike, each one was blocked.

The Law Domain mainly served to enhance laws and gather energy.

Compressing it into a weapon to siege a city was the least effective approach.

However, with each successive strike, the Eternal Source had already been planted into the defensive barrier.

With a single thought, Rosen activated the return to origin trait of the Eternal Source.

The barrier instantly collapsed—all energy returned to its most primal form and could no longer maintain the barrier structure.

The collapse was so sudden that the True God of the Scepter hadn't even reacted.

Before he could dodge, he was already enveloped in Rosen's Law Domain, which had been accelerated through time.

This time, Rosen didn't use Canvas Descent, but instead merged the virtual world of his left eye with the Law Domain.

The virtual world built by the Cubic Civilization was hardly inferior to an Immortal World.

It might have struggled to trap the Evil God Statue, but it was more than enough to trap the True God of the Scepter.

Even though the Scepter God summoned more than a dozen True God-level alchemical puppets, against the great True God-level Virtual Butler in the virtual world, all damage was deleted by the Virtual Butler's data control. The Scepter God could only passively endure the data edits.

The moment the Scepter God fell into the virtual world, he began to be assimilated bit by bit into a virtual lifeform.

The more he was assimilated, the less room he had to resist.

Once his left hand was assimilated, the Virtual Butler could edit the data to turn it into a claw—or even a boneless chicken foot if he wanted. Because in the virtual world, modifying a segment of data was a trivial task for the Virtual Butler.

As time passed, more and more of the Scepter God was assimilated by the virtual world.

When full assimilation was finally complete, the Scepter God was edited into a rabbit and lifted by his ears in the Virtual Butler's hand.

Rosen casually took the rabbit and twisted its neck. To a True God, this kind of damage was negligible. But to a rabbit, it was fatal. Having been transformed into a rabbit at the data level, the Scepter God died instantly.

The Scepter King card began to absorb the Scepter God. The face on the card transformed into the likeness of the Scepter God.

The King's Game suppressed the birth of any miracles, so there was no loot drop after the True God's death.

Even the belongings he carried were consumed as nourishment for the King Card. Thus, the greatest harvest was the Flame of Civilization.

Rosen tossed the miracle flame to his Bronze Dragon clone, letting the clone take charge of fusing the Flame of Civilization.

He then once again cast Canvas Descent, bringing the Terror Park into the rule-fused virtual world, merging the virtual world and the park together, further enhancing the King's Playground's ability to suppress the Evil God Statue.

Rosen hid in the shadows, flipping open the Void Sketchbook and began drawing the Evil God Statue.

With the time-accelerating ability of Time Sketch, the two-dimensional image was quickly completed, lacking only the final stroke.

At that crucial finishing moment—the touch that gives life to the drawing—Rosen used divine pigment transformed from the Eternal Source.

The Eternal Source merged into the eyes of the Evil God Statue in the image, and in reality, the statue's eyes began to change. Its right eye seemed to become a seed, taking root and sprouting, drawing energy from the Evil God Statue to bloom and bear fruit.

If the eye had been gouged out at that moment, it might have prevented the Eternal Source from taking root.

But the Evil God Statue wasn't a normal intelligent lifeform, so it reacted just a fraction too slow. By the time the eye was removed, the tendrils of the roots had already spread to the head. When the statue severed its own head, the roots had already extended through its body.

This was the most terrifying aspect of the Eternal Source—a parasitic growth ability like a plague clinging to bone.

Soon, the roots had spread all throughout the Evil God Statue's body. In a safe environment, the statue might have been able to suppress and slowly remove the roots. But under the threat of the three-in-one King form, the Evil God Statue had no chance to purge them.

Thus began days of brutal fighting. The entire Terror Park was laid to waste in the process.

Eventually, the roots absorbed enough power to sprout. The Evil God Statue grew weaker and weaker.

Finally, after half a month, it could no longer resist the mysterious suppression rules of the Terror Park against extraordinary powers.

The Evil God Statue turned into a literal statue, imprisoned in the royal plaza, with its right eye beginning to bloom and bear fruit.

At last, when the eyeball-like fruit fell, the Evil God Statue was completely drained of its last bit of power by the fruit.

As Rosen was still repairing Terror Park, he hurriedly picked up the fruit.

The sprouting, blooming, and fruiting of the Eternal Source was, in a sense, similar to Eternal Plunder and Eternal Evolution. But Eternal Source was far more ruthless—it directly squeezed out all of the Evil God Statue's power to allow this seed-fused eye to grow.

[Hell Evil Eye: Extraordinary Relic]

[Grade: Demigod-level (Immortal God-Demon)]

[Ability: Can drag any visible target into the residual hell realm within the Hell Evil Eye]

[Skills: Hell Will, Hell Assimilation, Hell Karma Flame, Hell Seed Origin]

Rosen never expected that after absorbing the essence of the Evil God Statue, the Hell Evil Eye would evolve into an extraordinary relic.

The Residual Hell Realm was an anchor for a Rule World. Hell Will allowed one's own immortal will to fuse with the residual hell realm—meaning, to damage the divine consciousness that had taken the form of an immortal will, the hell realm had to be destroyed first. Hell Assimilation could transform various lifeforms into hell creatures.

Hell Karma Flame—burns sin using sin as fuel.

And finally, Hell Seed Origin—the skill that most surprised Rosen, a power that originated from the Eternal Source.

After mastering the Eternal Root, he had frequently experimented with its ability to sprout, bloom, and bear fruit. However, since the total amount of Eternal Root was limited and high-level treasures were too precious to sacrifice, he had never dared let it parasitize anything above a divine level. Through this instance of parasitism, he discovered that when the Eternal Root parasitized something at the level of an Immortal God-Demon, it could produce a corresponding source seed.

The so-called Hell Source Seed was essentially the embryonic form of the Eternal Hell Source.

In theory, by continually feeding the Hell Source Seed, it could eventually grow into a full-fledged Eternal Hell Source.

Of course, that was just theoretical—Rosen wouldn't actually do it.

The reason was simple: to mature the Hell Source Seed might require devouring the entirety of Hell at its peak, and even that might not be enough.

In other words, the Hell Source Seed was too resource-intensive to raise. The birth of a source seed wasn't something that happened easily.

Rosen's ability to produce a source seed from his Eternal Root was thanks to the power of ten different Eternal Sources. Even so, his Eternal Root source seed was essentially still just an undeveloped infant, utterly incomparable to the Eternal Plunder Source Seed of the Ancient Gods.

So, even if parasitizing immortal entities could produce source seeds, expecting it to grow into a towering tree was impossible.

However, Rosen carefully examined the Hell Source Seed and discovered another use—it allowed him to perfectly control the Hell Evil Eye and even reverse its essence, converting it into Eternal Root.

What Rosen worried about the most was undoubtedly how to strengthen his Eternal Root.

The Ancient Gods had spent countless years developing their Eternal Source Seeds—so what made his Eternal Root seed think it could catch up in a short time?

But now it seemed, as long as he continuously parasitized Immortal God-Demon-level treasures and reversed them into Eternal Root, he could rapidly accumulate a large quantity of Eternal Root. That would provide sufficient resources for his future ascension to eternal life.

After some thought, Rosen decided to keep the Hell Evil Eye for now.

Not only could it significantly boost his combat power, but more importantly, it might prove useful against that Immortal Evil God in the depths of Hell.

He casually inserted it into his right eye, fusing it with the Omniscient Magic Eye, then resumed the restoration of the Horror Paradise.

Originally, the repair was quite difficult due to the countless Hell Laws and the power of Hell's Will spread throughout the park, making it hard to restore this miracle painting. But now, with control over the Hell Evil Eye, these forces began to gradually integrate into the Horror Paradise instead.

Rosen even began to consider—should he use the Hell Evil Eye and that Immortal Evil God as potential enhancement materials for Horror Paradise?

A few days later, the Horror Paradise was restored to its original state. Rosen immediately activated the Dimensional Gate and headed to the Kingdom of the Sacred Sword.

The fall of the Scepter Kingdom had clearly frightened the King of Sacred Sword.

So much so that, despite previously killing the Sky King once, the King of Sacred Sword actually teamed up with the resurrected Sky King.

Obviously, the Sky King had also realized that Rosen was the biggest variable and greatest threat in the King's Game.

Although Rosen was now incredibly powerful, he wasn't arrogant enough to think he was invincible.

He didn't fear any of the three powers individually, but if two joined forces, he would already be hard-pressed. If all three worked together, it could truly threaten his life—especially with that crossbow in the King of Sacred Sword's hands. Even if Rosen went all out, he wouldn't be able to take more than a few bolts.

So after careful consideration, Rosen decided to lay low in the Mysterious Study Room.

The King's Game wouldn't stop just because he disappeared. As time passed, the nine Emperors of the Empires would also awaken.

Don't be fooled by the fact that there were only nine Empires—if they joined forces, they could destroy all the Kingdoms.

No matter who awakened as one of the nine Emperors, the first thing they would do was eliminate all the Kingdoms. Otherwise, the Empires might fall into infighting—and they were afraid that, during such infighting, someone else would swoop in and reap the benefits.

So the Kingdoms' only chance of survival was to ascend to Empire status before the nine Emperors fully awakened.

This required a brutal deathmatch between Kingdoms—only the strong would survive, while the weak perished.

Thus, while Rosen could afford to lie in wait, the Kings of the Kingdoms couldn't—they had no choice but to fight or die.

As long as they couldn't find him, they would eventually lose patience and start killing each other. That would give Rosen another opportunity to hide in the shadows and pick off the scraps. As long as he targeted the weakest soft targets, the strongest Kings wouldn't stop fighting.

Because all of them would realize—as long as they weren't the weakest, the Holy Grail Empire wouldn't target them.

And given their past failure to gang up on him, they all understood their only path forward: ensure they weren't the weakest, destroy the other Kingdoms, and rise to Emperor status so they'd never need to fear him again.

Sure enough, things played out exactly as Rosen predicted—the three-way alliance lasted less than a month before collapsing.

Dozens of Kingdoms began a bloody mutual massacre. Every ten days, Rosen would destroy the weakest Kingdom, hovering over them like the Sword of Damocles. He forced every King to exhaust their minds and strength day and night in a frenzied, desperate struggle for survival.
