Lily arrived at the temple in the town's square and entered.
In the utter darkness at first, Lily suddenly found herself under a lush tree with a gentle and cool breeze under the sun.
Everywhere she saw was a vast grassy plain of uneven heights like a hilly area with a river slithering through it all around.
"This…" Lily breathed once, and she felt like she became 50% stronger in all physical parameters! It was like a temporary boost, but she could feel this powerful energy buffing her just because she breathed it.
"Hello, young lady."
Lily turned around with a snap and saw a floating, hazy woman's upper half body. Her face was veiled, but her starry black-dusk eyes were clear to behold.
"It appears that you harbor rather different intentions than the rest," the woman said with a light chuckle.
Instantly, Lily felt her heart turning cold.
