Simu raised an eyebrow.

She and Sarutobi Hiruzen were tied together if one fell, the other would too. Naturally, she couldn't sit back and watch the Sarutobi clan's power dwindle.
A security team that merely handled civil disputes… versus one that controlled all of Konoha's security, with the authority to even arrest high-ranking Anbu.
Anyone with a brain knew which was more important.
Compared to Koharu's agitation, Mitokado Homura remained calmer.
He took on the air of an elder and spoke firmly:
"I ask you that Sarutobi Shinnosuke has done nothing wrong. So why strip him of his role as Anbu Commander?"

His smile widened.
"Or is there another problem?"
From a technical standpoint, there was nothing wrong with Simu's decision.
After all, Konoha's higher-ups had once pushed the Uchiha clan out of the political center deliberately.
To make it seem fair, they elevated the Guard Force to the same level as Anbu, using that as an excuse to push Uchiha members out of Anbu.
The reasoning was simple:
"If the Uchiha already control a high-ranking security force, they can't also hold power in Anbu, right?"
But the Guard Force, which was supposed to be a major authority, had quickly fallen apart.
Within a few years, their reputation was in ruins, and the people of Konoha openly criticized them.

"Advisors? More like two old men who just cling to their past status."
"What have they actually done, aside from meddling in everything and draining Konoha's resources?"
Saying that, he rubbed his chin, as if deep in thought.
"Makes sense. Those two old men have siphoned off who knows how much of Konoha's assets over the years. Once Anbu is under my control, I'll have to investigate."
Seeing Simu's serious expression, Minato let out a long sigh.
Meanwhile, the two advisors left Hokage's office in a rage and stormed toward the Sarutobi clan's estate.
"Hiruzen, you have no idea how far that Hanyu Simu has gone! He keeps calling himself Hokage this and Hokage that—it's infuriating!"
Sarutobi Hiruzen sat expressionless, pipe in hand, listening to their endless complaints.
After letting them rant for ten minutes, he finally spoke,
"Simu made his move, and we have no choice but to play along."
"I've already told Shinnosuke to gather all the Anbu documents, and the Shimura clan is preparing to take over the Konoha Police Force."
