Mr. Singh tell Pradeep to wait in there and we both rush with the constable.
He show us the cctv footage a night before the disappearance of Rohan. It is from the place outside Rohan's place.
There was 3 people talking one of them was Rohan, other was Pradeep but there was 1 person who was unknown to us and the video was also very low in quality so we couldn't be able to recognise who is it.
Mr. Singh just rush towards interrogating room to ask who was it to Pradeep, and straight away ask him " who is him Pradeep ?",
He replies " Sir, he is Rohan's brother."
Sir and I both are shock because we are interrogating this whole case and still didn't knew that he have a brother even his family also didn't mentioned anything, strange.
Mr. Singh ask him " what were you talking in there",
" Sir, I don't remember everything but his brother want him to return home" he reply.
A very fishy thing which is going in here is Pradeep is not revealing anything and suddenly from no where his brother shows up, what happening here.
As much as I could sense things is somewhere the Divya's case and Rohan's case is linked.
Mr. Singh ask him " so that mean Rohan wasn't staying with his parents, so you must knew where he used to stay?"
He replies " he holds a property on his name, he use to stay there"
I was so pissed at him because the moment I ask him about his friend he didn't utter a word about anything and now he is saying everything in front of Mr. Singh, maybe he didn't take me seriously at any point.
Even Mr. Singh is also looking pissed somewhere,
He tries to cover it saying " I thought you knew things as his parents must have mention him not staying together".
The more we are getting into the more confusing it gets, Divya did knew something important about Rohan or maybe she knew who did this to him.
Mr. Singh ask him " what's his brother name write it down with the contact no. and also Rohan's address "
He did what he said and Mr. Singh ask him to leave.
Mr. Singh ask me to go at Rohan's place, and meanwhile he want to talk to his brother.
Jay get the car at the entrance and we left.
Jay says " Piya don't you think that Pradeep could be the one who can murder his best friend" ,
" But there's isn't any motive in fact he's the one who's giving leads like Rohans parents didn't mentioned that he wasn't living in their mansion" I reply.
" I think he knew a lot of things and still he choose to be silent like I just can't accept his behaviour he's just so normal so calm and this is not normal" jay put his valid point.
And somewhere I do agree with him that he knew everything still he didn't said a word.
I reply him " you're right in this".
The drive is long and I'm tired like hell I need coffee, how funny is it like the person I'm suspecting is the one I went on date with or the one who drove me home. It feels like I'm getting played.
We reach at Rohan's place he owns a beach facing beautiful penthouse On the top floor.
The moment we enter in we broke his house and I'm amazed by the beauty. The sunlight was coming from through his huge windows window wall and the whole furniture is white in colour, the curtains is in white colour too it gives this calming feel and peace to eyes. I lost admiring the house then I came back to sense that why I come to Rohan's house.
Jay start looking in the living room, I go into the room attach to living area I guess its bedroom, I start to look in the cupboards inside the drawers but nothing except for cloths, then I take a tour to his kitchen area where nothing is there like nothing at all not even a single plate, and not even a spoon this is unusual even if he maybe order food or whatever he must have a spoon to eat.
I go upstairs there are just 2 rooms upstairs and in both the rooms there are bed a king size bed it is huge and in one room there's a picture of him and Divya in frame next to the bed.
Maybe he did really loved her. I get tears and I just want to catch the person who did this I defiantly will.
Then I check the drawer of side table there's a lot of things in it, some bills, keys and a lot of stuff I call Jay upstairs and ask him to take this bills and keys maybe it can help us in anyways.
When I search the cupboard there was passport and his documents and I see a box inside it when I open it there is some letters and letters were not hand written they were computer typed and printed.
I read one of those letter and it says " STOP DIGGING IT, MORE AND MORE OR ELSE IT WILL BE YOUR GRAVE" .
A death threat what he was digging into what he knew that someone is threatening him for it.
I can't wait and I read the other too it says " DON'T FORCE ME TO DO WHAT I'M NOT SUPPOSE TO DO. I ALREADY WORN YOU STOP IT".
So this is clear that Rohan knew someones dirty secret and maybe he was planning to reveal it and that was the reason he was so happy when he had his last party.
We wrap everything we found and left his place.
I ask Jay " hey, jay can you think of a possibility that when you know someone's secret what will you do?"
He reply me with weird expression " maybe if the person is related to me I will not reveal it, I just don't know what i'll do, honestly" , I say " you're correct though, look Rohan was getting death threats and he still wanted to reveal his or her secret, like what was it that he wants to do it and is that even beneficial, I'm still confuse" .
He gives a really good solution " piya, here there are a lot of possibilities, I think if we get to know who was the one sending him this death threats then maybe we'll be able to solve this case easily".
I ask jay to drop me at office and ask him to submit the evidence to Mt. Singh.
I go into the office and the receptionist says " Piya mam you have a visitor, I ask him to wait in the visitors room, do you want me to direct him to your cabin ?" ,
I reply her " no no I'll go and visit him myself".
I go in my cabin and keep my stuff there and I go to visitors room, when I enter and he was there Pradeep
