President Bao and Huo Jing, fully armed, arrived in D City.
They sat in the car, watching the few wandering zombies outside the transmission point.
"What should we do?"
President Bao adjusted the helmet he had welded out of iron and looked helplessly at Huo Jing, who was also wearing an iron-welded helmet.
They had brought a large truck through the transmission, and the truck bed was filled with rolls of barbed wire.
Gritting his teeth, Huo Jing's voice was muffled inside the helmet, but the gritting could still be heard,
"Charge through!"
After saying this, he floored the accelerator and charged toward the incoming zombies.
This was a good idea, and at least Huo Jing and the Contractor made it safely to the temporary safety zone.
Along the way, they crushed quite a few zombies...
After a day, the area outside the temporary safety zone had gathered many survivors.
Most were rescued back by the Garrison.
