Shen Zhaozhao lay on the bed and suddenly sniffed, "Why do I smell cake?"
Zhaozhao's mother gave her a look, "You and your nose, always thinking about eating."
"I've been in labor for a whole day and night, I desperately need to replenish my energy. What's wrong with thinking about food?" If it hadn't been for the two pieces of chocolate she stuffed into her mouth before giving birth, she might not have made it this far.
"You and your faulty logic, but you still can't eat anything," Zhaozhao's mother said.
"When can I eat then?" Giving birth was physically demanding, and Shen Zhaozhao was naturally not resistant to hunger. She hadn't felt it during the pain earlier, but now that the baby was born, she felt starving, extremely hungry!
Yet she was told she couldn't eat anything.
Zhaozhao's mother: "You'll have to wait until your digestion works properly again before you can eat."
