The search party was enormous, with flashlight beams sweeping across the mountains and fields.
Yang Fan couldn't count how many people there were, but it looked like there must've been at least two or three hundred.
"Master, this kind of turnout is a bit intimidating. Wouldn't it be rude not to invite the villagers for a meal and some drinks?" Yang Fan whispered to Mr. Fan beside him.
"If you're willing, hosting a meal isn't a bad idea," Mr. Fan replied. "I don't even know where exactly you all got lost. If we didn't mobilize the entire village to search, how could we have found you with just a few people?"
"You three are really lucky. Falling into such a deep pit without a scratch—unbelievable."
