Amala stood at attention, almost, fully awake, she swayed a bit on her feet and she gripped her staff too tightly. She was on high alert and it took a moment for a shattered mind to regroup and actually see her surroundings.
Her eyes focused and she was almost taken aback. All she saw were her people, still looking at her as if she were crazy. They had all stood at her motion some with weapons at the ready some eyeing her cautiously while still others looked about, just as confused as she was.
She narrowed her eyes. Were they the ones she needed to be wary of? Did she need to kill them all? Her nose twitched as several of her subordinates subtly shifted their stances when she had her last thought. She smiled and began focusing on the room.
