Anis shot up in her bed, her eyes as wide as saucers. Struns sat up looking at her with a mix of confusion, worry, and exhaustion on his face. He patiently waited for her to explain.
She leaned into him and kissed him softly. "I have to go talk to Rachel. Go back to sleep." She kissed him again and then was gone. He sat looking at the spot she had just disappeared from. He lightly shook his head and laid back down, instant falling asleep.
Rachel frowned and sat back waiting for her sister. She blinked into Rachel's room already in the middle of pacing the floor. Rachel's eyes opened wide but she did not say anything and just waited.
Anis stopped, looked at Rachel while biting her thumb and spoke with quite certainty.
"Rachel he's alive." As soon as the words were out of her mouth she was pacing again. Rachel frowned. A he, presumed dead, associated with Anis. She racked her brain and something slipped into place.
