Chapter 1 - Epilogue

A black dragon moved in the void of space, it stumbled upon a giant planet, then turned it into its nest.

The planet, full of exotic plant life but devoid of animal life, could be tens of Earth put together. Its giant sun warmed the dragon, and every breath it took further advanced the planet's state.

After a long period of hibernation, the dragon's eyes shot open in intense rage, then the dragon took flight into space.

When the dragon returned, it was immensely scarred, its body barely holding together, the dragon took one last breath and exploded, immense cosmic power exploding from it. Two shards of its core hummed in the void silently, dragons birthed from the chaos, and not long after the planet reformed.

Evolution and extinction took place, new life was formed and some races lost.

Several millions of years later…

An unknown race discovered a massive core beneath a mountain and took settlement there.

Current day, the Gyndalian world.

A noble woman wondered in the town market, even with her several maids following behind her, she didn't express any comfort.

"Madam, you seem depressed.'' A strange old woman whispered into the noble woman's ears.

The noble woman turned to look at the old woman, wondering how she got this close despite the protection of the cast guards.

"A woman with no child would be I guess, after all, the rich also cry." The old woman smiled; her words caused the noble woman to frown.

"Miss Maria of the house of Wilbert." Olga smiled even more. "You can say I have a solution, but everything in this world comes with a price." Olga turned serious half way through the sentence.

Maria paused, then turned to look at her servants and beckoned them to stay behind.

"Talk, I'm listening." Maria looked at Olga with a very serious face.

"There's a Temple out in the mountains, a temple of worship for the Dragons." Olga begun, and studied Maria's expression.

"The dragons…" Maria pondered in thought. To all the gyn of Uthean, the ancient dragons were beings on the same level as deities. All the dragons disappeared from the face of the world some thousand years back. So, the dragons worshipping something sounded strange.

"Don't overthink it, there are things greater in this plane ." Olga smiled.

"What is the price?" Maria turned to Olga, like Olga stated earlier, there is no free lunch in the world.

"Huh" Olga chuckled "You wouldn't be able to pay if I stated the price"

Puff

Maria and Olga vanished. Maria's guards ran forward with confused and fearful looks "This isn't Elemental Magic . Where the heck did that old hag take our mistress." Christopher the head guard cussed.

...

In the mountains south of Uthean.

Maria and Olga reappeared in a cave far bigger than Son Doong. The cave's walls were adorned with gold, and the cave by itself would be able to contain 4 NYCs.

"What's that?" Maria pointed at the floating pulsating orb.

"Hmm, your child." Olga smiled.

An ethereal voice spoke.

"Yes master." Olga nodded.

Maria shivered as she looked to the orb, a sort of primal fear and reverence burning deeply within her.

"I think we should skip the formalities, but I'm Olga the Oracle of the shard , this is my master; the sovereign." Olga introduced .

Crackle, rumble,

The grounds shook and thunders rumbled in the sky. The cave walls begun constricting…

A day later, Maria awoke on a green field with a hazy memory.

Neigh!

Christopher and the other guards rode over on lizard horses.

"Ma-am, where is that old hag?" Christopher said with flames twirling in his palms.

"Old hag?" Maria looked at Christopher with a confused gaze.

Nine months later, the screams of the mid wives filled the House of Wilbert.

Hillan and his sister; Kairos stood before the delivery room with stomped looks.

"How is this possible." Kairos questioned as she looked at the walking baby.

Three months later, Baby Adrian sneezed and half the town experienced an earthquake.

Five months later, as the nanny was taking care of the young child, he spoke, causing another commotion within the house.

A year after his birth.

As Christopher was training the fire squad of the House of Wilbert, Adrian watched from the balcony, his mother lazily scrolling on her Excel while her other hand caressed the head of her cat poodle .

The baby boy copied the gestures Christopher performed then smiled when he felt understood it.

"Kaboom!" He put his palms together and cast a fire ball in the sky.

That was the day Adrian was confined and sent to a school of the Arcane arts for seven years, only to be sent back because he caused so much trouble.

At age eight, he discovered web novels and fully engrossed himself, completely forgetting about the outside world.

Current day.

Diligently counting his steps around the county, Adrian entered the forest. A long procession of voitures moving towards the direction of the county.

As one of the voitures passed by, Adrian's locked eyes with one of the passengers, a pink haired gyn girl, sitting by her mom.

Rainbows appeared in numbers in the sky, beautifying the place. The girl popped her head out of the voiture.

Her mom also looked out with surprised eyes then her gaze landed on Adrian.
