Chapter 211 - Chapter 213

"I say, you think about him so much, do you actually see him as your son?" Tsunade glared at Kirito.

"How is that possible? If I treated that boy as my son, I would have taught him powerful techniques like I did with Chinatsu. It's only because of the deal with Fugaku." Kirito replied seriously.

At the same time, he added in his mind that at most, Sasukae could be considered a stepson. And as a stepson, the most he would do was ensure he didn't die too soon—nothing more. He had no intention of playing the role of a foster father.

"That's true." Tsunade nodded. She knew Kirito was only good to his family.

Kirito, not wanting to linger on the topic, decided it was time to leave. He had already said what needed to be said. Akatsuki wouldn't act for the next three years, so there was nothing to worry about.

"Alright, I should get going now." After saying that, Kirito rubbed his daughter's head, formed a symbolic seal with his right hand as usual, and completely left Konoha Village.

"Hey, wait, you bastard!"

Tsunade called out, wanting to ask if Chinatsu would also inherit the Sharingan. But it was too late—Kirito had already disappeared.

Tsunade instinctively glanced at her daughter. Their eyes met, and her breath hitched.

Chinatsu's eyes gleamed with scarlet light—the three-tomoe Sharingan.

Tsunade was stunned.

Even Kirito might not know this...

Ever since Chinatsu learned that Kirito was her father, she had unconsciously awakened the single-tomoe Sharingan.

Later, after overhearing Kirito and Tsunade's private discussions about relationships and intimacy through her mind-reading ability, she unknowingly evolved it into the two-tomoe Sharingan.

And just now, the moment she realized Kirito might have another woman, she awakened the third tomoe.

Three years later.

Hidden Rain Village.

On the open-air balcony of the tallest tower, Pain sat on the outstretched tongue of the Gedo Statue. As always, he remained motionless, lost in thought under the endless rain.

"Pain," Konan approached from the stairwell, stopping behind him. "The Genin we sent to participate in the Chunin Exams at Sunagakure and Konoha have returned."

Pain didn't turn around. "What's the situation?"

"It went unexpectedly smoothly," Konan reported. "Aside from Gaara, the One-Tailed Jinchuriki who has now become Kazekage, the Seven-Tailed Jinchuriki from Takigakure has also appeared. She is currently on her way back to her village."

"Additionally, Zetsu has detected a massive chakra buildup in a lake in the Land of Water. It is likely the Three-Tails is about to be resurrected."

"Considering the Six-Tails Jinchuriki, the rogue Mist ninja Utakata, as well as the Two-Tails Jinchuriki Nii Yugito from Kumogakure, and the Five-Tails Jinchuriki Han from Iwagakure, we have now gathered intelligence on most of the tailed beasts."

Pain stood up, leaping down from the statue's tongue and stepping onto the balcony. His expression remained as cold as ever.

"The Three-Tails' resurrection… It is time," he murmured.

No one knew the real reason Pain had waited three years. It wasn't just because of orders from the masked man—he had been waiting for the Three-Tails to fully reform.

Konan's face darkened. "So we're finally making our move? But we still don't know where the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails Jinchuriki are hiding."

"I know," Pain replied. "But the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails are the strongest of the Tailed Beasts. We must wait until the Gedo Statue has sealed the first seven before attempting to capture them."

"By then, we won't need to be cautious. With the power of the Seven already sealed, we can directly attack the two Great Shinobi Villages and take them by force."

Konan hesitated, then said, "The Five-Tails Jinchuriki, Han of Iwagakure, recently left on a mission. Just like the Seven-Tails Jinchuriki Fuu, he's currently outside his village."

"If they return to their villages, capturing them will be much harder. Now is our best chance."

"But Han is not an easy opponent—his Steam Release is formidable."

"Leave the Five-Tails to Kirito and Pakura. Kakuzu was once from Iwagakure, so he and Hidan will handle the Seven-Tails."

Pain turned to Konan, his gaze heavy with finality. "The plan to capture the Tailed Beasts has begun."

Meanwhile, in an abandoned valley...

A massive Uchiha Flame Formation stood in the center of the valley.

The ground trembled violently, echoing with deafening roars and explosions.

Finally, the barrier shattered.

A massive, green energy blade slashed through the air, splitting the land in half before tearing through the sky like lightning.

A few seconds later—BOOM!

A blinding explosion illuminated the heavens.

"Is this… the power of a god?"

Pakura, dressed in the Akatsuki's signature black cloak with red clouds, gazed in awe at the catastrophic scene unfolding before her.

Her normally composed face was filled with shock.

The shattered Uchiha Flame Formation slowly faded, revealing a black-clad figure walking out of the wreckage.

His long black hair swayed slightly, and a dark green sword rested at his waist.

Pakura immediately stepped forward, handing him a towel. "Master Kirito, was it a success?"

"It's not that simple," Kirito replied with a wry smile.

Three years had passed.

Kirito's appearance had not changed in the slightest, thanks to the effects of the Pure Gold—an artifact that had frozen his body at its prime.

However, his strength had only grown more terrifying.

More than a year ago, he had reached the ninth level of his Sage Jutsu, just one step away from its peak.

In swordsmanship, he had fully mastered the techniques of the world's greatest swordsmen and made them his own. His proficiency in Armament Haki had also skyrocketed, allowing him to use all four techniques: Hardening, Entanglement, External Release, and Internal Destruction.

He had also honed his Flying Thunder God to the level of near-instantaneous movement. Alongside that, he had mastered sealing techniques and advanced barrier techniques obtained from Root.

On top of all that, he had spent years experimenting with elemental chakra fusion, aiming to create his own Bloodline Network based on Sage Jutsu.

But it was proving far more difficult than he had imagined.

And the colossal sky-splitting slash just now?

That was merely him venting his frustration.

Still, his efforts had not been in vain.

Using Pakura's Scorch Release and techniques learned from Terumi Mei's Boil Release and Lava Release, he had already mastered nearly every known Kekkei Genkai that combined two chakra natures—except Wood Release.

The only thing eluding him now was the legendary Dust Release.

Without firsthand knowledge of the technique, he had no way of replicating it.

With everything else he was training, there simply wasn't enough time to figure it out.
