Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 : You're Weak

Clashing of metals rebounded through the arena creating a cacophony of sounds, hurting the ears of anyone who dared to stand close.

Strained breaths were met with ruthless movements which determined survival, the liquid metal Mecha suit held on, despite the countless hits it suffered.

The wearer wasn't sure on his mentality at the moment as it seemed like the soldiers who were once mercilessly slaughtered by him were now getting stronger and stronger.

They were able to even preform inhumane feats, however the mecha boy had also been able to take down about fourty five of these medieval armoured knights.

Problem was, he was currently battling the strongest five out of the bunch, he's energy reserves were running dry, his AI assistant was informing him of multiple damages to his suit.

But still his mind burned with fervent hatred, picking up a broken sword after rolling away from a vertically slashed blade, he raised the broken blade to his scanner.

( Absorbable : Products Vary by Energy Expenditure ), his AI assistant said.

The metal fused with his hand, at that moment an arrow was shot at him, he tilted his head at the nick of time catching the projectile while firing on of his.

Current he was surrounded by five inhumanly strong humans, each equipped with diverse weapons, an Archer, a swordsman, a marksman with a crude pistol, a Brute and surprisingly the first mage he had directly encountered.

The swordsman charged at him with a burst of speed, followed by the Brute, Mecha boy knew he had to brace himself of protect himself ahead of time.

A burst of flames escaped his feet pushing him a few meters away from the ground and narrowly avoiding a slash aimed at his feet, while avoiding the blade he failed to realize the warhammer headed directly for his face.

* BOOM *

He felt his skull get crushed from the hit as he was launched away, * BOOM *, he crashed into a hulking shield he didn't notice initially.

Recovering in a seconds notice he rolled away avoiding the rim of the human sized shield, it was as if these creatures had been toying with him initially and had gotten serious.

* WHOOSH * WHOOSH * Whoosh *

Icicles rained down on his lying figure piercing his suit effortlessly but failing to reach his human body, the huge shield moved.

A hulking human stood behind it staring at him with unnerving calmness, it moved again kicking him before he could think.

The tanker wasn't amongst the five he was fighting and the mage used an eery green smoke not icicles, as he flew across the entrance area of the town a realization dawned on him.

Other soldiers were joining the fight, he was airborne and defenseless but that didn't mean he was offenseless, holes appeared on the back of his suit.

It fired two missiles which killed his momentum and the knight standing in wait for his approach, the flames on his feet ignited again and he utilized them in flipping his body.

The moment he landed, his heart dropped, the army of almost four thousand soldiers had split out a hundred soldiers and they were charging at him at a speed he couldn't comprehend.

He fired his missiles at them but the annoying mage which caused the death of his friends intercepted the missiles and sent them back to him.

He moved to the left attempting to evade his projectiles, unfortunately a blade tore through his heavily damaged suit penetrating his skin and lodging itself into his throat.

After his throat was penetrated more parts of his body were stabbed, his liquid suit slowly flowed back to it's original source, his spine, time stopped for him as he understood he was dead.

His mind raced backwards, drifting his consciousness into the bitter past of his life.

In a dark one room apartment silence existed, blood continually spread throughout the barely furnished room, blood from the bodies of two adults, a male and a female, both dead.

Kneel sitting above the horridly mutilated bodies was a certain red haired boy of about twelve years old, his mind lay broken and void as the events that left him in this state replayed over and over again in his mind.

All he remembered were just fractions of what transpired, he walked into the house after a long day of playing at his friend's house to be met with the greatest shock of his life.

This happened a few seconds before the rain started as that was his reason for returning, he saw his mother and father in a violent argument with his father's only brother someone who had visited to stay for a day or two.

Although he did see his uncle's face neither did the adults acknowledge him but what followed in the next seconds shattered his soul and traumatized his mind.

With his uncle swipe his hand blood splashed, his uncle slapped his mother so hard her head imploded, his father who was bleeding heavily from the chest was choked and raised of the ground.

His father was then bitten and chewed bit by bit like folder for a sick cattle playing with it's food, disfigured and mutilated by claws and fangs his father's body was thrown across the room like a ragdoll.

His uncle then broke the window and attempted to jump out but stopped when he was about to jump, turning to the little boy he smiled revealing his daunting fangs.

" Forgive me, William " his uncle said before jumping out of the window, he stood frozen still, broken and traumatized, his shoes soaked in the blood of his parents, " Father, Mother " he called weakly as tears filled his eyes.

Even after that went past him like a blur he could follow up to this moment, the moment he joined his parents, impaled by icicles, swords, daggers and spears.

Blood filled his mouth as his knees threatened to buckle under his ever growing weight, a puddle of his redish grey blood formed beneath him.

" Askusau, Vatistgi Yabkkdle Zanvesule " A the annoying female mage said walking towards him, at that moment the weapons were withdrawn from his body.

He collapsed instantly, " Wasted " he said slowly losing consciousness, before he completely blanked out he saw a blurry figure in a uniform similar to his floating on a wooden plank.

This surprised him at first but that wasn't his problem at the moment, yet his eyes didn't leave the figure which kept coming closer and closer.

He wondered why the knights didn't attack the figure and theorized it might have been one of them or he was hallucinating.

All those thoughts were cleared when he was turned to lie on his back by the now clear yet familiar figure, after moments of staring at each other the floating figure said.

" You're Weak "
