The name rolled off her tongue so smoothly and naturally that it even stunned her for a moment.
The dream flashed back from her memories — the one where she still remembered the guy. His face had never appeared clearly in her vision, but his eyes — cold, yet warm and gentle — had never left her memory.
"Ide, can we have a picture together?"
"Only if you promise to be my girlfriend now and wife later."
Arwen still felt her cheeks flush, remembering it. She never forgot that dream. Not because she felt it was silly to imagine something like that, but because it felt too real to be just a dream.
Could it not just be the dream?
She gazed back at the page of the diary. Given that there did exist the name, Ide —this has to be real. Or else, how could a name from her memory align so appropriately with someone she mentioned in her diary?
But if there was someone who existed, how did she forget him?
