'Hmm, are they fighting?' During the supposed fight between Lazuli and Blue, Bulma focused her attention on them, sensing that Ki's attacks were missing more than they should.
Using her empathic ability, she noticed the emotions exuded by each of them. It wasn't the typical desire to fight or kill; they were calmer emotions.
She even caught a glimmer of determination in General Blue's signature. Seeing that Lazuli wasn't in danger, Bulma focused on what mattered most to her: Sergeant Metallic.
The blue-haired girl ignored the soldiers looking at her with naked greed. She could take care of them with ease; they weren't a challenge or threat to her. Therefore, her next actions were quite carefree.
She pulled a capsule from her pocket, pressed its button, and tossed it aside. A black briefcase with the emblem of her family's company appeared. Under the gaze of the humans and the android, she opened the briefcase, revealing many technological devices.
She pulled out a device that looked like a tablet and pointed it at Sergeant Metallic. After a few moments, a mischievous smile crossed her face because she had just detected an important fact: the android in front of her did not emit signals; therefore, everything it recorded was stored within it and nowhere else.
This made things much more interesting for Bulma. She then decided to take drastic measures. After retrieving her items and storing them back in the capsule, she looked at the guards mischievously.
"You guys have had some pretty disgusting expressions on your faces," Bulma declared, angering the soldiers. One of them took a bazooka and pointed it at her.
"Bitch! It's only because the general warned us not to capture you. He didn't say anything about blowing you up," said the man with a somewhat smug expression. After all, he didn't quite understand what Bulma stood for.
It wasn't surprising. They were people from remote areas who had received only a short period of training, just enough to ensure they wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot while operating their weapons.
"Yes, and those capsules are valuable, aren't they? I've heard of them. Why don't you hand them over?"
One of the men approached Bulma with a nonchalant posture.
He stroked his chin with one hand and grinned sickeningly as he used his eyes to "check" Bulma's body, especially the pocket where he saw the girl keep the capsule.
Where he was from, only the village chief had such an item. Even though he joined the RR, he didn't hang around in advanced cities all the time, nor did he make a lot of money; in fact, his salary was low compared to others'.
It was only because his current boss was General Blue that he knew more about the world. It was technically his first time in an "advanced" city like Papaya City.
"It's not a good idea what you're planning," Bulma warned. But her words were taken as mockery. To them, those strange lights were just technological methods to deflect missiles. Being up close, could her body resist bullets?
The man near Bulma pointed his gun at her while reaching into her pocket with his free hand. Suddenly, he felt terrible pain and a strong desire to scream.
Bulma had caught his hand, and in no time, his bones crunched and turned to dust. In shock, he fired the entire magazine of his pistol at Bulma's face. Both he and his companions felt real terror.
The bullets bounced off the blue-haired girl's face and fell inert to the ground. Bulma blinked several times, confused by what had just happened.
Had these shoddy soldiers not seen the tournament? They seemed unaware of their power. They also seemed unaware of martial artists. Did these soldiers live in such remote areas?
Or worse, what if their superiors blocked them from accessing mind-opening news and information? They could be hiding the more supernatural aspects of the world, such as the existence of martial artists, which defy common sense. They could also be hiding the current global interest in martial arts.
Unbeknownst to her, Bulma had come close to the truth. The RR superiors weren't interested in their soldiers becoming stronger through training. Even worse, they didn't want their soldiers to know that they could take revenge on the RR by convincing a strong fighter to join them, because many soldiers were forced to serve.
Only the most important figures were exempt from these rules. Even many of their special benefits, such as paying for certain people's studies, had been abandoned to prevent more betrayals like those of Lazuli and Lapis—the classic bad examples for the RR.
Now, they taught the soldiers what they wanted and informed them of their decisions, limiting their minds and molding them more effectively. It could be said that, since the tournament, things had changed tremendously on Earth, for better or worse.
The soldier wounded by Bulma, who chose to shoot her, was now facing the real world—one where people can resist not only bullets but also powerful explosions, becoming stronger in the process.
Bulma pointed her index finger at the soldier's head and fired a thin beam of ki. Unlike what anyone might have expected, the beam didn't go through his head but impacted his forehead, pushing him backward.
"What did you do!?" the man shouted, waving his good hand in the air. His eyes were unfocused, and his companions realized something cruel: the man was blind.
"If they like my curves so much, I'll take the light out of their eyes," Bulma said in a low, sinister tone.
The light left the eyes of these soldiers, perhaps a worse punishment than death.
...
"What are you planning to do?" Lazuli asked, causing General Blue to smile as he pulled a small controller out of his pocket.
"I've been pretty fed up with the changes the RR has made these days," the blonde said. He didn't hesitate before pressing the big red button and smashing the controller with his psychic energy.
"Some RR bases where they held people captive have just been bombed. Their defenses have been breached, freeing many men and women who are angry at the soldiers who trapped them and took away their peaceful lives." Seeing Lazuli's curious expression, former General Blue started to explain his actions.
"You participated in that?" asked Lazuli, causing Blue to hesitate before nodding.
"I guess I have committed many sins. I don't know how to atone for them. Then, I blew up the forced labor camps that I knew of." Although Blue didn't directly answer the question, his words explained a lot about his past actions.
"Well, but it doesn't sound like your retaliation is that serious," Lazuli said, voicing her thoughts. A huge, unnatural smile blossomed on Blue's face.
"Do you know how such a large army is financed? Do you know how a company can create products to supply a planetary market? Except for Capsule Corp.'s robotic factories. How do you think those companies would act knowing about the cheap labor of captured people?
I acted to free those people, but I also attacked part of the RR's main industries. Not only that, but those companies that condemned the RR were secretly buying hundreds of thousands of units of products made by innocent people. Do you think my actions are light?
I will cause chaos! I will upload the information to the internet. Now, everyone will know that the super expensive, exclusive clothing company is not as special as they think.
Will those who dress expensively and hate the poor be disgusted to know that the calloused hands of a "poor" woman manufactured their designer clothes?
Don't you feel uncomfortable wearing these clothes? Blue's words made Lazuli uncomfortable. She wanted to take off her clothes until a thought popped into her mind:
"You're exaggerating, aren't you?" Lazuli asked doubtfully. Blue shrugged.
"I was just reciting and adapting what I wrote here," Blue replied, pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket. It was full of scribbled, almost nonsensical words—like the gibberish of a madman.
"I used a special code to write it. But it's chaotic because of my previous unbalanced mentality. Back then, I didn't control my psychic power properly, and that's when I initiated this plan." Blue tore the piece of paper apart with his powerful psychic energy, which he now controls.
"Looking at it now, it seems that I wanted to set myself on an extreme path, thinking narrowly. Now... I just want to study and deepen my psychic abilities," the blonde said, looking up at the starry sky.
"I understand. However, someone should do something about the RR. It's not good to have an army like that walking around," Lazuli said before turning to look at Bulma, who was approaching them while carrying Sergeant Metallic's body.
The android's huge figure dwarfed Bulma's, who looked quite small in comparison. However, she held him with ease. When she arrived in front of the two blondes, she pushed the mechanical being aside before glaring at Blue.
"My phone hasn't stopped ringing because of the leaks that mysteriously appeared on the Internet. I was able to escape your words for a bit. Why didn't you just kill everyone with more powerful explosives?" Bulma asked, sitting down next to them.
"Mental chaos caused by uncontrollable mind power is like being disconnected from reality, you know? If anyone should take action for justice, though, it should be the King of the World. He's the leader of Earth for a reason, isn't he?
It would be interesting if the king issued a 'hunting' decree against the RR with bounties high enough to entice martial artists to take action."
Blue's words gave Bulma a stupendous idea.
What if the blame for the destruction of the RR fell not on Goku but on many people? She could also try convincing Doctor Gero to change his mind; after all, funding was the lifeblood of science.
Imagine Doctor Gero working for Capsule Corp! Of course, this attempt might be futile; Doctor Gero was someone with clear goals and obsessions. For someone like that, it's best to create an obsession and a different path on which they can focus all their attention.
"I think my family should give up some of their privileges," Bulma muttered as she organized and optimized the idea Blue had given her. But first, she had to resolve a complaint.
"Couldn't you have picked a worse time for your ambush? I was on a date!" Bulma pointed at Blue's face, causing him to sneer.
"Blame it on my foolish soldiers? What happened to them?" the blonde asked. But Bulma averted her gaze to Lazuli, ignoring Blue.
"Hey, Lazuli~! How about I treat you and your brother to a super cool beach?" Bulma smiled at Lazuli, who had already blushed at the blue-haired girl's earlier words.
"Sure! I'd like to go!" the blonde agreed, eager to spend more time with Bulma.
It was time for a beach vacation!
"I don't think it's appropriate to ignore me, you know?" Blue said, looking at Bulma with narrowed eyes. The blue-haired girl shook her hair, looked at him with her chin raised, and let out a disdainful snort.
"Sorry, I was trying to make some headway on whatever it is between me and Lazuli. But do you want to give me your number? If you need help, you can call me." Bulma's proposal made Blue smile, and he nodded.
"I guess I can relax more knowing that if the RR gets intense, someone like you would be helpful." Blue quickly gave her phone number to Bulma, who then added it to her contacts. They even followed each other on the forums.
How was Bulma going to treat the Red Ribbon Army now?

AN: YES, WE WILL HAVE A BEACH CHAPTER! Wooooo. Additionally, I will remove all political comments, pornography, trolling, and other objectionable content.
Also, Blue thoughts under high mental power chaos aren't my opinions. I usually don't write my opinions or thoughts about topics like that. I'm not from left or right or center, I'm Steeeeeeeveeeee (that isn't my name, just a meme)
