THEY STOOD around as they watched the bonfire flare up to the sky. The ashy smell of flesh being burned filled the air. Luella watched it burn, she watched as everything burned to the ground.
"Where to now, my lady." Ulric asked, as he slowly morphed back to his human form, much to Luella's happiness.
"Now? I'm tired, so let's just head back home." She answered. Without looking back, they climbed onto Nagini. And the snake being faster than them all, it didn't take before they got back to the grand dukedom.
"Welcome back, my lady. Had fun?" Brighter asked standing outside to greet her.
Luella gave her a weak but amused smile. "Well, I don't think killing more than scores of people, is counted as fun."
"You never know." The maid shrugged. Luella chuckled, as she linked arms with Brighter. Not hearing footsteps, she turned around.
