Anime Group Chat in a Doomsday World!]
-------
Boom!
A violent explosion shattered the silence of the Aogiri Tree's base.
"Guzzlord, keep firing the Destructive Death Ray!"
Kaneki, now fully in his ghoul state, stood resolute. Staring at the unfinished building that had been fortified into an iron wall, he activated his war machine—the Guzzlord—without hesitation.
Under his command, the abyss-like maw of the Guzzlord opened once again, condensing an ominous energy charged with destruction.
Boom!
Another searing beam of energy shot out, tearing through the entire structure like a blade and triggering a massive explosion.
The Destructive Death Ray, now under the full control of Guzzlord, began to sweep horizontally. Like a sharp sword, it carved a gaping hole into the building, leaving devastation in its wake.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
"Damn it! Do the CCG have missiles now?!"
"Help! Someone's trapped under the rubble!"
"Help? I can't even save myself! Run for your lives!"
Panic spread like wildfire, and chaos engulfed the Aogiri Tree's base as the sudden attack sent its inhabitants into disarray.
After its latest 'feast' in the arena, Guzzlord had devoured vast amounts of ghoul flesh and blood, propelling its level to 40.
At this level, it rivaled SS-class ghouls in physical strength alone.
Combined with its immense size and the mystical powers of its Pokémon-like abilities, the Aogiri Tree base stood no chance—it was like a sheet of paper, easily torn apart.
---
Meanwhile...
A strange figure materialized within the Aogiri Tree base.
It was Blacephalon, dispatched by Kaneki himself.
With fear now permeating the base due to the Guzzlord' assault, Blacephalon began absorbing life force from its terrified victims.
Its ghostly attributes also allowed it to locate the remains of ghouls who had perished under the Destructive Death Ray.
Every one of these ghoul corpses was a treasure trove—valuable kakuhou to be exchanged for points or used to further strengthen the Guzzlord.
Kaneki would not let such resources go to waste.
---
"The power of another world truly is astonishing..."
Several members of the Clown organization who had accompanied Kaneki gazed in disbelief.
Among them was Uta, who only recently had crafted a custom mask for Kaneki.
Back then, Kaneki had been so weak that Uta could have killed him with a single finger.
But now...
Standing atop the towering Guzzlord, his Kagune swaying ominously, Kaneki radiated a deadly aura.
Uta couldn't help but mutter:
"Times have changed, indeed."
Instinctively, he reached into his pocket, where he once stored eyeballs, only to find it filled with Ferrero Rocher chocolates instead.
Unwrapping one, he took a bite.
The crisp shell gave way to sweetness, and a wave of happiness swept over him.
"It's good to be human," Uta thought to himself with a wry smile.
---
At that moment, Kaneki's voice rang out from atop the war machine:
"Uta-san, Renji-san, the gate has been destroyed. Follow Blacephalon's guidance, eliminate all ghouls, and feed their corpses to the Guzzlord."
"Yes," Uta responded immediately.
Quickly licking the remaining chocolate from his fingers, he turned to Renji, who nodded in agreement.
Kaneki's gaze then shifted to Touka.
"Touka, your brother should be in the base, correct?"
"Yes," she replied.
"Take Shuu and Naki with you. Find your brother and bring him to our organisation. By any means necessary, ensure his cooperation."
"Yes!"
Touka's voice was firm, her determination evident.
Raising her head, she looked at Kaneki with eyes full of gratitude.
After her father's death, her brother had been deeply affected, eventually joining the Aogiri Tree.
Without the information brought by Naki, she wouldn't have known of his involvement.
Yet Kaneki treated her brother differently from other ghouls.
Rather than discarding him, Kaneki issued an order for his integration into their group—offering him the chance to become a high-ranking ghoul and escape the curse of his race.
For this, Touka felt a profound sense of debt and resolved to dedicate her life to Kaneki's cause.
---
With their orders clear, the four assigned by Kaneki disappeared into the dark labyrinth of the Aogiri Tree base.
Kaneki turned his attention to Roma.
"Roma, follow them. If they encounter any enemies they can't handle, I'll need you to step in."
Though Kaneki had never seen Roma fight, he was certain her unsettling aura signified extraordinary power.
"Understood, my king~," Roma replied, her tone playful yet reverent.
Her body twisted unnaturally, shedding the lazy demeanor she exhibited in the safe zone.
Like a shadow, she disappeared into the darkness, leaving Kaneki to oversee the carnage below.
Seeing that his comrades had begun entering the battlefield, Kaneki's lips curled into a smirk. He raised his hand and commanded:
"Guzzlord, keep advancing!"
"Ouuugh~!!!"
A roar, like that of a demon from the abyss, erupted from the massive mouth of the Guzzlord.
The colossal figure moved instantly, its mountain-like form smashing through the staircase entrance as it barreled into the depths of the Aogiri Tree base.
---
At the same time, the two Destructive Death Rays unleashed earlier had already jolted nearby residents from their sleep.
The Ghoul Countermeasures Bureau (CCG) quickly received reports of the disturbance.
Despite the late hour—well past two in the morning—the CCG headquarters was ablaze with light.
"What?! A massive explosion at the unfinished building owned by the Rauz Group in the 13th Ward? What's going on?"
"It's still unclear. According to emergency calls from nearby residents, they reported seeing a massive creature near the site and hearing what sounded like a monstrous roar."
"The unfinished building... isn't that the secret ghoul base we discovered recently?"
"..."
"..."
The office erupted into noise as investigators discussed the situation.
Many who had already left for the night hurriedly returned to the CCG headquarters.
---
Half an hour later.
Breathing heavily, Special Investigator Itsuki Marude arrived at the large conference room in the 1st Ward headquarters. Despite his exhaustion, his brisk steps betrayed the urgency of the situation.
As the leader of Tokyo's 1st Ward, Marude held significant command authority over the Ghoul Countermeasures Bureau.
The room was already packed with investigators, with more arriving by the minute.
Coughing twice to gather attention, Marude stepped up to the podium.
"Everyone, you're already aware of the situation, so let's skip the small talk."
His expression was grave. Nodding to his assistant, he signaled for the presentation to begin.
The assistant immediately projected images captured by satellite onto the large screen. Though the footage was grainy, it clearly showed a massive creature rampaging through the unfinished building.
Other images revealed scenes of intense combat within the structure.
Marude continued:
"Based on satellite surveillance, the explosion in the 13th Ward appears to be the result of a battle between two ghoul organizations."
"We've identified one of the groups—it's the Aogiri Tree, the organization we've been targeting recently."
"As for the other..."
Marude hesitated, scanning the room before noticing Amon raising his hand.
"Senior Investigator Amon, do you have something to add?"
"Yes."
Amon rose from his seat, gesturing toward the screen. "Could you zoom in on this section, please?" he asked the assistant.
The assistant glanced at Marude for approval before enlarging the requested section of the image.
The screen now displayed a figure wearing an eyepatch-like mask. Though pixelated, the sight made Amon's eyes widen with recognition.
"It's him!" he thought, before addressing the room:
"This ghoul was encountered by Senior Investigator Mado and me just yesterday in the 20th Ward."
"While investigating information on the S-class ghoul Gecko, we were forced to retreat after being threatened by this ghoul and several others. Later that day, Gecko's body was discovered in a nearby alley."
"If I'm not mistaken, Gecko's death was caused by this same group of ghouls."
"What?! The S-class ghoul Gecko is already dead?"
"According to our findings, Gecko was a member of the Aogiri Tree. It seems this other ghoul organization has a vendetta against the Aogiri Tree and is deliberately targeting them."
"Isn't that a good thing? Let the ghouls fight each other! The more of that trash that dies, the better for us."
"You can't think like that. There are still many residents near the unfinished building, and we can't ensure their safety if this conflict spills over."
"..."
"..."
As Amon finished speaking, the conference room buzzed with whispers and hurried discussions.
On the rostrum, Marude frowned slightly. The unexpected emergence of another mysterious ghoul organization in Tokyo was deeply troubling.
Satellite surveillance footage revealed that while this organization did not appear to have many members, its strength rivaled that of the Aogiri Tree.
The situation was becoming increasingly complex.
After a moment's thought, Marude slammed his hand on the table, immediately silencing the ongoing discussions below.
"No matter what, we cannot allow innocent residents to be harmed," he declared firmly.
"Everyone, listen up! All investigators are to suit up immediately and head to the conflict site in the 13th Ward."
"Our primary objective is to protect and safely evacuate civilians from the area. As for the rest, we'll adapt to the situation as it unfolds."
"Yes, sir!"
The investigators responded in unison.
---
Shortly thereafter, a convoy of trucks departed from the Countermeasures Bureau, making its way toward the 13th Ward.
Meanwhile, amidst the chaos, the Aogiri Tree Organization was suffering a crushing defeat.
---
"Damn it..."
Ayato Kirishima, bloodied and pinned to the ground by a massive arrow, struggled helplessly.
He painfully lifted his head, his gaze falling on the three figures approaching him—a traitor, his sister, and a nemesis.
"Naki! I demand to know—why?!" Ayato roared, his face contorted with anger.
He couldn't comprehend why Naki, someone he trusted, had betrayed them to join another ghoul organization.
Even more shocking was the fact that his own sister, Touka, was part of that organization.
Before Naki could respond, Touka stepped forward, her eyes meeting Ayato's with an unusual softness.
"Stop struggling, Ayato," she said gently. "As of today, the Aogiri Tree is finished. You can come home with me."
"Home? Hah!" Ayato sneered bitterly, glaring at her in disdain.
"Don't think that just because you defeated me with their help, the Aogiri Tree is destroyed. You have no idea how powerful we truly are!"
Despite his bravado, a glimmer of fear flashed in Ayato's eyes as he spoke. Having witnessed the terrifying strength of the Aogiri Tree's leader, Eto Yoshimura, he doubted that Touka's group could overcome them.
But beneath his defiance was a deeper fear: that he might have to watch his sister die in this war.
Touka, however, merely smiled at his words.
"Unimaginable, you say?" she laughed lightly, her voice carrying a tone of teasing admonishment.
"Oh, Ayato, you have no idea what truly unimaginable power looks like."
Boom!
As if to punctuate her statement, the unfinished building around them began to quake violently.
The walls cracked, and the air grew thick with tension.
"It seems the real battle is about to begin," Shuu remarked, his voice tinged with exhilaration as he sensed danger approaching from all sides. His expression turned maniacal, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
Touka shot him a glance before producing a vial of liquid—a reagent she had specifically prepared for this moment.
However, this was not a serum to enhance a ghoul's power. It was a suppressant, designed to neutralize their abilities.
With one injection, Ayato's body weakened dramatically, leaving him unable to muster any strength.
Touka lifted him onto her shoulders effortlessly. "It's time for you to see the world anew, Ayato," she said, her tone firm yet tinged with affection.
Turning to Shuu, she added sharply, "Stop daydreaming, Tsukiyama! Let's go!"
"What an uncouth woman," Shuu muttered, smoothing his disheveled hair from the earlier scuffle. He cast a wary glance at Naki, who seemed mesmerized by him, before shuddering involuntarily.
With a sigh, he quickly followed Touka as they exited the crumbling building.
---
Elsewhere, chaos reached its peak.
"Heh heh... Today is turning out to be so entertaining!"
"I didn't expect to meet you here! It's so interesting, so exhilarating!"
"Let's have some fun!"
Perched atop a colossal, doll-like monster, Hoito Roma's half-exposed figure trembled with unrestrained madness.
Her voice echoed as the giant doll charged forward with alarming speed.
Roma was a rarity among ghouls—a Half-Kakuja. These beings, formed by consuming other ghouls, possessed immense power but often lost control, driven mad by the energy coursing through them.
However, a Half-Kakuja who could master their power could evolve further into a Kakuja. Unlike ordinary ghouls, Kakuja had distinct forms and names, and their strength was unparalleled.
In her fully evolved state, Roma had become known as the Mother of Chaos.
Opposing her was another gargantuan creature of flesh and blood. Draped in a crimson cloak of sinew and crowned with white bone-like horns, this terrifying being was none other than the legendary One-Eyed Owl, the strongest ghoul of them all!
