The time was about right, as Xinyue was going to treat Tangyu and the others to a meal, to welcome and show them around.
Since Xinyue was so enthusiastic, Tangyu didn't refuse, and thus the group set out.
The destination was the Mindful Feast restaurant, with Xinyue explaining, "The dishes here are quite distinctive and have a great reputation, feeling even better than that five-star hotel my family runs."
Tangyu nodded, "Let's just settle for this. It's just a meal, after all, we can keep it casual. What matters is the taste, not the luxury. In fact, I don't like eating in those opulent places, it feels too ostentatious and empty."
With a smile, Xinyue agreed, "Yes, ostentatious and empty, a place like this is much more appealing."
Tang Guo was standing nearby and promptly teased, "Yo yo yo, seems like you two are in sync. The more I look, the more you two seem like a married couple, huh?"
"Tang Guo—" Xinyue's face flushed red as she snapped back softly.
