Ji Mei laughed, "Really? You said it; next time, I'll wear that kind of big floral fabric from rural kangs to see if you're still interested."
Ling Zhenfei said, "I'm really surprised that you actually drove all this way."
Ji Mei smiled and said, "What else can I do when I miss you? No matter how far it is, I have to find you."
Ling Zhenfei said, "But aren't you famously against marriage? This seems to contradict your behavior."
Ji Mei sat up and said to Ling Zhenfei, "Not wanting to marry and missing you are two different things. Besides, they don't conflict; even if I wanted to get married, would you marry me?"
Ling Zhenfei laughed, "Are you serious?"
Ji Mei didn't answer, "As long as I'm happy being with you, why should I care if it's real or not? Whether we'll marry later doesn't matter."
The two gazed at each other affectionately, slowly moved closer, and finally melted into one.
