The sun hung high over Marineford, its golden rays reflecting off the towering white fortresses and the vast expanse of the plaza. The gleaming Marine insignias atop the buildings shone brilliantly, while the sea breeze carried the distant echoes of drill commands and the rhythmic footsteps of patrolling soldiers.

Luffy stretched his arms, letting out a loud yawn, relishing the taste of freedom in the salty air.

"Damn, that was suffocating," He muttered, cracking his neck. "Marineford's a pain."

Beside him, Kuina walked with her arms crossed, her keen eyes sweeping the crowd as if searching for potential trouble.

"At least we're out now," She said, exhaling slowly. "Though I doubt Sengoku will leave us alone for long."

Luffy chuckled, rubbing his chin. "Yeah, the old man's probably already pulling his hair out, thinking about what we'll do next."

His eyes glinted mischievously. "Which is exactly why we should make it worth his while."

Kuina arched a brow. "And by that, you mean?"

Luffy grinned, throwing an arm around her shoulder. "Play around, of course!"

She sighed but couldn't help the small smirk tugging at her lips. "Why am I not surprised?"

Luffy laughed, releasing her as they hopped onto a small boat, setting sail toward Sabaody Archipelago.

The trip took only a few minutes, the great mangrove roots rising in the distance, their colossal forms casting a mesmerizing pattern across the sea.

Kuina's breath hitched slightly at the sight.

"It's beautiful," She admitted, eyes wide as they glided through the waters, weaving between the towering trees.

Luffy nodded. "Sabaody's got its charm. But it's also a shithole."

Kuina shot him a curious look. "How so?"

Luffy sighed, scratching his head. "Slavery, human auctions, corruption—you name it. It's all here, hiding behind the fancy bars and amusement spots."

Her face darkened. "I see."

Luffy smirked. "But hey, at least it means we'll have some fun cleaning up."

Kuina glanced at him, already knowing that fun in Luffy's dictionary usually meant chaos and destruction.

"Shakki's Rip-Off Bar first?" she asked, already knowing the answer.

Luffy grinned. "Of course."

As they walked through the lively streets, chatting and enjoying the sights, they didn't go unnoticed.

Shady eyes followed them from the alleys.

A group of men in ragged clothing, their faces twisted in greedy smirks, whispered among themselves.

"Look at those brats," One muttered, licking his lips. "Good-looking and young. Bet they'll sell for a damn good price."

"Two kids all alone? Easy catch," Another chuckled darkly, tightening his grip on a coiled rope.

Unaware that they had just signed their death warrants, the slavers moved in, circling Luffy and Kuina in a deserted place.

"Hey, kids," One of them called out, his voice sickly sweet, fake kindness dripping from his words. "You lost? Need some help?"

Luffy didn't even stop walking.

"Nope," He replied lazily. "But you do."

The slavers blinked. "What—?"

Before they could react, Kuina moved.

Shing!

Her sword flashed, and in an instant, a head hit the ground.

The remaining slavers barely had time to scream before Luffy vanished and reappeared behind them.

"Too slow."

CRACK!

A fist, infused with blackened Armament Haki, obliterated the ribs of one, sending him crashing into a building with a sickening boom.

Kuina sidestepped, effortlessly avoiding a panicked slash from another, before driving her knee into his stomach so hard that he coughed up blood and bile.

The last man tried to flee.

"Oops, too late."

Luffy's fingers wrapped around the man's skull before he crushed it against the pavement.

Blood stained the cobblestone.

The fight had lasted seconds.

Kuina flicked the blood off her blade. "That was pathetic."

Luffy yawned. "I know, right? Thought they'd put up a fight at least."

As he stepped over the bodies, a thought struck him.

The Human Auction House.

The heart of Sabaody's filth.

Luffy's grin turned wicked.

"Hey, Kuina."

She looked at him, already sensing trouble. "What?"

"Let's pay the slavers a visit."

Kuina's lips curled into a smirk. "I was hoping you'd say that."

----

The first shop they entered was a large, luxurious establishment, decorated with gold ornaments and velvet curtains.

Behind thick iron bars, hundreds of slaves—men, women, even children—sat in silence, their eyes filled with hopelessness.

A sleazy, overweight man, dressed in a purple suit, waddled toward them, grinning.

"Welcome, welcome! How can I help you—?"

BOOM!

Luffy roared, his Conqueror's Haki bursting out in a violent shockwave.

The owner's eyes rolled back, and he collapsed instantly, foam forming at his mouth.

The weaker guards dropped unconscious, while the others trembled violently, barely able to stand.

Kuina rolled her eyes. "Always so dramatic."

Luffy smirked. "Why waste time?"

He stepped forward, surveying the cages.

"You're all free now," Luffy announced, shattering the locks with a mere flick of his fingers.

The prisoners hesitated, as if unable to believe it.

A fishman among them stepped forward. "You're… letting us go?"

Luffy nodded. "Yep. Unless you're a pirate. In that case, you're staying right where you are."

The pirates in the cages stiffened, their expressions turning grim as they realized their collars were still locked.

Luffy cracked his knuckles. "Trash like you? You're going straight to Impel Down."

He turned away without another glance, leaving the restrained pirates to stew in their fate. Meanwhile, the innocent captives stood frozen in awe and fear.

"Go home," He told them simply. "Or get stronger."

One by one, they stumbled out, some crying, others bowing in gratitude.

But Luffy wasn't done.

"Next shop," He said, turning on his heel.

Kuina grinned, wiping blood from her blade. "Now you're speaking my language."

And so, one by one, the slaver dens fell.

The second shop's guards barely had time to draw their weapons before Luffy's fist turned their skulls into a paste.

The third shop tried to run—only to find Kuina blocking the exit, her sword gleaming with fresh carnage.

The fourth exploded into flames, reduced to nothing as Luffy's sheer fury incinerated its walls.

By the time they reached the largest human auction house in Grove One, the entire Sabaody Archipelago was in chaos.

The slavers had locked the doors, hiding like rats.

Luffy sighed. "Pathetic."

And then, with a single swing of his arm—

BOOOOM!!!

The entire front wall of the auction house disintegrated, leaving behind nothing but rubble and screams.

Inside, many noble scumbags trembled as Luffy and Kuina stepped through the dust.

A thin, eccentric man stood in the center of the chaos, glaring at them with fury and desperation. He had long silver hair, a cleft chin, a stubble beard, and a mustache. A purple coat draped over his frame, a pink scarf curled around his neck, and a ridiculous tall yellow hat adorned with flower patterns sat atop his head. His trademark star-shaped glasses glinted in the dim light.

Disco sneered. "You have no idea who you're messing with, brat. This place belongs to Donquixote Doflamingo. If you destroy it, you'll be making an enemy out of him."

Luffy almost laughed. This was his big threat?

He grinned, stepping forward. "What, are you trying to scare me?" He cracked his neck. "Let me make this simple. My name is Monkey D. Luffy. My grandpa is Monkey D. Garp, the Marine Hero. And if Doflamingo has the guts to come after me—" his grin turned razor-sharp, "—I'll be waiting."

Disco paled. He opened his mouth to say something but he did not get the chance.

Shing-!

His head hit the floor before the words could escape.

Luffy flicked his blade clean of blood and turned to the remaining slavers.

"Kuina, tie them up."

She smirked. "Gladly."

As the last of the slavers were bound and left for the Marines to pick up, Luffy gazed at the ruins of the once-thriving slave empire.
