At this time, everyone had been sailing on the sea for an hour and a half. It had been half an hour since the last time Rayleigh came out of the sea.

The events that followed proved that the eight Sea Kings who had tragically fallen under Rayleigh's blade were not the end of it.

More corpses were floating on the sea. In just this short half-hour, five or six more Sea Kings had attacked Larson and the others.

However, their fates were just as grim. Some became sashimi, devoured by Larson and the crew, while others floated on the water, turning into a buffet for the fish.

At this time, aboard the Whitebeard Pirates' ship, which appeared poor and somewhat pitiful, two pirate ships were present. Larson, Rayleigh, and Gaban, along with the captains of the two pirate groups led by Whitebeard and Roger, and their vice-captains, had all gathered together.

No one else dared to disturb them and had already retreated to a safe distance.

"It's getting stranger and stranger," Rayleigh, who was sitting next to Larson, said, frowning. His blond hair gleamed brightly under the sun.

"Why do these Sea Kings keep attacking us?"

Gaban curled his lips, "You called us all here just to talk about that? Isn't this normal? We've been attacked by Sea Kings before, but there's just more of them today."

Gaban felt that Rayleigh was overreacting. Earlier, Rayleigh and Larson had called everyone over, saying there was something important to discuss. But after hearing Rayleigh's words, all they were talking about was why the Sea Kings kept attacking them.

Why?

Why, you ask?

They're humans, and these Sea Kings are the overlords of the sea. Isn't it normal to be attacked by Sea Kings while sailing?

"No, haven't you noticed that these Sea Kings are a bit different from the ones we usually encounter?"

Larson spoke up, not wanting Whitebeard and the others to think he and Rayleigh were fools. "These creatures usually stay hidden beneath the sea. If you don't provoke them, they don't usually attack. But today, it seems like they've gone mad, constantly coming after us. You've never seen this happen before, right?"

Whitebeard said, "I can't say I've ever experienced something like this before."

A black fog seemed to form in everyone's minds, and Larson's words were slowly clearing it away, bit by bit.

Larson continued, "I suspect that Yerug Island has the ability to attract more than just Sea Kings."

As Larson spoke, he scanned the group before continuing, "There might be something on that island that makes these Sea Kings stronger. And for reasons we don't yet understand, it's making them more aggressive!"

Larson's guesses weren't random; they were based on his analysis of the Sea Kings' corpses and his earlier conversations with Roger.

Roger had mentioned that these Sea Kings might not belong to any known sea, which immediately sparked Larson's suspicion.

Roger had spent decades sailing the seas, traveling across nearly the entire world. With his level of knowledge, it was impossible for him to be mistaken about something like this.

But if Roger was right, then something was off.

A group of Sea Kings appearing out of nowhere? Could there be undiscovered seas in this world that they hadn't encountered?

The Sea Kings that appeared afterward made Larson think of something else.

Since Yerug Island seemed capable of attracting Sea Kings, it was possible it could also strengthen them.

After all, this was the world of One Piece. Science didn't apply here—only the supernatural did. Anything imaginable or unexpected could happen in this world.

But the true mystery could only be solved on Yerug Island itself.

Yerug Island had an inexplicable pull on the Sea Kings. These creatures didn't belong to any known sea. The strange phenomena surrounding them only made Larson more curious about the island.

He could hardly wait to go there and investigate.

Whitebeard and the others weren't fools either. Larson's words, though spoken casually, made perfect sense.

Whitebeard grinned and said, "Say what you want, but in the end, we won't know what's on that island until we get there, right?"

"After Larson said this, I couldn't help but feel excited!"

An eager smile appeared on Roger's face. "After all, we haven't come across such an interesting place before, right, Rayleigh?"

"Hmm."

Rayleigh responded with a faint smile. "I never expected we'd run into something this intriguing on our trip to the East Blue. It's strange how this whole thing fills me with anticipation."

Originally, they had come to the East Blue because Roger, on a sudden whim, wanted to visit Whitebeard. But now, things had developed far beyond their expectations, turning what seemed like a simple voyage into something far more extraordinary.

"But since this situation has escalated so much, the Navy is bound to take action, right?"

Gaban expressed his concerns. He was still feeling a little down, especially since he was the only one who had questioned Rayleigh earlier. After hearing Larson's explanation, he now felt somewhat foolish.

Gaban's words were more than just casual speculation;

The events on Yerug Island had already spread worldwide through the newspapers. Not only pirates from the East Blue but from all over the world might be flocking here.

Given this, it was certain that the Navy wouldn't let the opportunity slip. After all, this was a golden chance for them to round up some pirates.

Normally, pirates hide in the vast sea, making it nearly impossible for the Navy to track them down, like searching for a needle in a haystack.

But this time, around Yerug Island, they were all gathering in one place. Gaban even wondered if the Navy had deliberately spread false news about Yerug Island to lure all the pirates there and trap them.

"The Navy will definitely make a move, but they can't stop us."

Larson picked up the glass in front of him and took a sip.

"Oh? And what makes you say that?"

Larson glanced at Gaban. "Because they're no match for us."

For a moment, there was silence, then Roger burst out laughing, followed by Whitebeard's deep, booming laughter.

Rayleigh smiled and shook his head. "So arrogant, Larson."

"Isn't it because of you?"

Larson smirked. If it were just the Whitebeard Pirates, he wouldn't be so bold, but things were different now. With both the Whitebeard Pirates and the Roger Pirates in their prime, even if the entire Navy came after them, it's doubtful they could be stopped.

Even if the Navy set up an ambush on Yerug Island, no amount of strategy could overcome sheer, overwhelming strength.
